Has anyone tried working out with a sledge hammer? apparentley all you need is a lump hammer and a tyre? looks intresting so i might try it out.
Good for building core strength i've read, can anyone comment on this?

yes. it is a 7 day program.
Days 1-2 distance training. first day: run five miles holding a sledgehammer. Not fun.
Day two: run ten miles holding a sledgehammer.
Day three, four: self defense/ speed training. Hire about 200 negroes out of the ghetto. Dont say why. Get your running shoes on and a sledgehammer and stage your meeting with your new employees 100 yards from your car. Meet them with your sledgehammer and call them niggers, etc. Choice a: defend yourself with the sledgehammer, or b: drop the hammer and run for your car.
Day five, six: "toughening up." Get somebody to hit you in the gut with the sledgehammer a few times. I also call this training method, "learn your own limitations."
Day 7: get rid of the sledgehammer and get a new program.
