View Full Version : NFL Annual IQ Test Shows White Players Are Smarter

http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228.htmlIf the NFL draft is a meat market, the NFL draft combine is where the beef is weighed and measured. Beginning today in Indianapolis, and for several days, our future Sunday heroes will take a full physical, sit for X-rays, face an interview, bench press 225 pounds for show and dough, jump broadly and vertically, and run the 40.

David Carr survived the test to become the No. 1 pick last year.
And, of course, they'll take the Wonderlic. (Click here, and you can take it too.) (http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228test.html)

The Wonderlic is an IQ test with only 50 questions -- it's a short version of the longer test routinely given to kids. Players have just 12 minutes to take it, and most don't finish. But, in fact, the average NFL test-taker scores a little above average.

The first questions on the test are easy, but they get harder and harder.

An easy question: In the following set of words, which word is different from the others? 1) copper, 2) nickel, 3) aluminum, 4) wood, 5) bronze.

A tougher one: A rectangular bin, completely filled, holds 640 cubic feet of grain. If the bin is 8 feet wide and 10 feet long, how deep is it?

But players scoring too high are also suspect. If a player is smart, his potential to be a smartass increases exponentially.

E.F. "Al" Wonderlic invented the test as a Northwestern grad student in the psychology department in the 1930s. The test was first given to potential NFL draft picks by a handful of teams in 1970, and it quickly became a popular combine tool because, like everything else at the predraft workout, it put a number on performance, and it did it quickly.

Some teams consider the test results critical. Others say they dismiss the results, except for players who score at the extremes. What's an extreme? Well, former Bengals punter and Harvard grad Pat McInally (cracker -kt) scored a perfect 50 -- the only NFL player known to do so -- while at least one player, it is rumored, scored a 1. (haha, probably a nig, -kt) Charlie Wonderlic Jr., president of Wonderlic Inc., says, "A score of 10 is literacy, that's about all we can say." If that's the case, more than a few pros are being delivered the Books-on-Tape version of the playbook.

Each year, about 2.5 million job applicants, in every line of work, take the Wonderlic. The average NFL combiner scores about the same as the average applicant for any other job, a 21. A 20 indicates the test-taker has an IQ of 100, which is average.

Some people disagree with the whole idea of IQ testing because they believe the tests are culturally biased and inaccurate. But Charlie Wonderlic doesn't make grand claims for the score derived from his test. "What the score does is help match training methods with a player's ability," he says. "It could be a playbook -- what is the best way to teach a player a play? On the field, the higher the IQ, the greater the ability to understand and handle contingencies and make sound decisions on the fly."

In general, says Wonderlic, "The closer you are to the ball, the higher your score."

This assessment roughly corresponds to the averages revealed, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, by an NFL personnel man in Paul Zimmerman's "The New Thinking man's Guide to Pro Football," which are:

Offensive tackles: 26
Centers: 25
Quarterbacks: 24
Guards: 23
Tight Ends: 22
Safeties: 19
Middle linebackers: 19
Cornerbacks: 18
Wide receivers: 17
Fullbacks: 17
Halfbacks: 16

The average scores in other professions look like this:

Chemist: 31
Programmer: 29
Newswriter: 26
Sales: 24
Bank teller: 22
Clerical Worker: 21
Security Guard: 17
Warehouse: 15

Ready to try your hand at it? Click here to take the test. (http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228test.html) The three smartest positions, QB, OT, and OG, are probably the only ones left with a significant number of, if not a majority, of white players. It should also be noted that white boy QB Eli Manning (or perhaps his older brother Peyton) scored the highest on this year's test; I believe he got like 44-48. I heard this on the radio, I'll see if can find an online source.

On the other hand, arguably the three most niggerfied positions in the NFL - WR, RB, and Cornerback, predictably scored the lowest.

Whilst not disputing the argument that Aryan man is infinitely more intelligent than the negro I do not put much store by conventional IQ tests which only test for a certain type of intelligence.

Heh, I just took that IQ test and scored 12/15, with a couple careless mistakes too. Only one that I really couldn't figure out. Just goes to show how dumb niggers are; one of them supposedly only got one question right in the 50 point version.

I am forever shamed. Didn't notice the teensy-weensy dot inbetween the $-sign and the "10" in question no 8. As a resullt, one would be inclined to suspect that my answer was rather less than impressive. Apart from that, the test was a breeze, of course (now, I didn't bother checking, but I am sure I got it all correct - "resent" and "reserve" are farming utensils, right?).

Steve Sailer pulled up some interesting, as usual, statistics on this subject. (He had another pretty slick take on the subject a year or so ago, I have to hunt it down.)

Football IQs: The NFL requires all college players hoping to be drafted to take the 12 minute Wonderlic IQ test of 50 questions. I found the stats for the top 309 prospects in the Spring 2003 draft (the one where USC's quarterback Carson Palmer went #1). I've converted it into IQ scores by assuming that 20 questions = 100 and each additional question is worth 2 points, although that might be overstating the IQs a little. The average for all the prospects was 103, which is quite good. (I suspect, however, that player practice the test more, and I'd hardly be surprised if some of these superagents didn't find away for their clients to cheat.

Here are the scores by position and for the leading football powerhouses (although the sample sizes aren't big enought to say much for sure about colleges recruiting strategies):

9 Jerome McDougle Miami DE 80
10 Marcus Trufant Washington St. CB 98

Clearly, the NFL is willing to take guys who score low if they've got the physical skills, but it likes its QBs and offensive linemen to have 3-digit IQs. I hope these guys with 74s and 80s have honest agents and business managers to look after all those millions they're making.

Smartest:

149 Kevin Curtis Utah St. WR 156
8 Jordan Gross Utah T 140
297 David Porter Iowa T 138
65 Jon Stinchcomb Georgia T 134

I'll skip the names of the lowest scorers, but the lowest was a defensive lineman on Utah with a 70. When he lined up across from Jordan Gross (140) in practice, I wonder what their colloquys sounded like? *LOL*

Kevin Curtis, WR

I'll finish the other 2 in my next post...

David Porter, Tackle
(I couldn't find a pic of him, must not be in the League anymore, but I did find this little tidbit here (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/draft/394391):
Pre-Medicine major...Plays five musical instruments...Son of Alice and Paul Porter...Born 2/23/80 in Frankfort, Germany....Resides in Belleville, Illinois.
Consensus? White guy.
IQ= 138

Jon Stinchcomb, Tackle

Is this any surprise? I think not.

How did you guys score this?

There were only 15 questions,not 50.
I did get 14 right, but ran out of time on number 11,it was only 5 minutes.

I did get 14 right, but ran out of time on number 11,it was only 5 minutes. The test on the page is just a sample of the real one. So I guess you would multiply the # you got right by 3 1/3 (50/15) to compare with the NFL numbers.

The players mentioned in my last 2 posts had their scores adjusted to the standard IQ scale, on which whites average about 100.

It is a shame that negroes who speak ebonics are forced into this same predicament and attain less than average results due to this cultural factor. :(

Thanks Tiger, but I knew that pretty easy, but I was just wondering if there wasn't some kind of conversion for the I.Q.

I can't believe some brudda only got one right, out of 50 questions.

Most of the questions have 3-4 choices, except for the math questions, but having said that.

The laws of probability, would mean that if every question had, lets say 3 choices, the laws of probability would mean that you should get 1/3 of the questions right, even if they gave you the test written in Chinese, and didn't know any of the answers.

Getting one answer right out of 50,is quite an achievment on its own, lol.

No, not at all. What I am surprised at, though, is their giving the individual scores, period. If I was a nigger coming in at a healthy clip of, say, 82, I doubt I'd want the information spread out for the world to see. I wonder if all of the individual NFL scores are floatin' around? If not, maybe their previous college tests, which appear to be public, should be available. I want to know the kafir quarterback scores.

Well, this is no surprise! The reason is simple, and always has been:99% OF ALL White athletes in college,ACTUALLY GO THERE TO LEARN,while niggorillas go there, just to play a sport, party,do drugs, and fuck, fuck, and fuck, anything that moves.Their grades are in the toilet, but they get passed, simply because they "helped" the team go to a Bowl game,or the NCAA basketball tournament,or the NIT.This is how it's ALWAYS been, from day one, when we started integrating,AND,IT'S HOW IT WILL ALWAYS BE!!!!
