Yeah, I saw that. Moss ain't a gentleman or a good sportsman as displayed when he walked off the field before the end of the game last week.
It was fun watching Moss get shit for it from all the sport announcers and Favre was such the darling.

I'm sure Moss was only trying to emphasize what an ass he is, in case anyone wasn't sure after his early departure from the field in last week's game against Washington, and his remarks about how Mike Tice isn't "the right coach" for the Vikings, even after Tice had defended him on several occasions.

Not to defend Moss...but you have to look at the situation here.

He is an ass, yes, but did he really 'moon' them? No, he faked it. He faked pulling his pants down and doing it.

Something else you are ignorant about....It is almost a custom in Green Bay that when the visiting team loses and they are en route to the airport there are a large contingent of fans that moon the players as they are leaving, but only when they lose.

Now, hold the fans accountable as well because that is asinine behaviour also.

I played a major college sport and I know how unruly some fans can be when they have that 'safety' of being fans. Why is it okay for fans to do what they do and then when we, as athletes, get pissed because they don't get reprimanded we have to suck it up?

Like I said, I'm not saying Moss was right, but his "mooning" was brought upon because the fans of Green Bay act ignorantly as well.

Didn't bother me what Moss did to the GB fans, I already know him to be a low class negro and it was sweet to see some of Vik fans tell ol' Moss to hit the road by way of signs; they be tired of him too. He better enjoy his time in the sun from his good playing, talents fade but being a low class negro don't. lol

He is low class, but I would have done the same thing to the fans being that they act the way they do.

Being a fan does NOT give you free reign to do whatever you want. Heckling is one thing, crossing the line by mooning at an airport or other idiotic things is something else.

Seems other folks feel it was in bad taste. And the coach is coping the same story as you IrishJay, fans were rude, they deserved it. Gee, that is why it is called 'self control'. Shall we lower the standard of what is considered good sportsmanship? I can't recall any other player doing such a thing.
But hey, you can dress them up but can't take them out, as the old saying goes. :D

Randy Moss is almost sure to be fined for pretending to moon fans in Green Bay during a playoff win, according to NFL rules.

The league is looking into the star receiver's antics in Minnesota's 31-17 victory against the Packers on Sunday and will announce its ruling later this week.

When asked whether the oft-fined Moss would be penalized again, a league spokesman recited NFL rules mandating discipline for ``obscene gestures or other actions construed as being in poor taste.''

A fine for the first offense under those guidelines is $5,000. Moss has not previously been fined for such action, but he paid a $25,000 penalty in 1999 for squirting an official with a water bottle.......

I agree that he went over the line, but how come none of the fans were ever reprimanded for their actions to the losing team? Sportsmanship DOES go both ways you know.

I played college football and I tasted the NFL. I know how fans act when they think they are "behind the barriers'. They are as much to blame as Moss is. Moss is a shithead, but so are the fans. IMO they should be equally punished, but that won't happen because athletes are ALWAYS to blame because they make millions...
