No, I haven’t.
1- I don’t know if they would show something like that here
2- That’s probably the project of least interest to me which was undertaken during the 3rd Reich. It didn’t really interest Hitler that much either. Himmler ended up extracting funding from various industrialists, because Hitler didn’t release any funds for it through the treasury. I only opened the thread, because nobody else brought up this subject
3- I won’t watch any film where a WASPy looking actor tries to portray a German
4- This would be like getting Mel Gibson to play the role of Seargent Schultz in Hogan’s Heroes or like getting Arnold SchwarzeNigger to play 007 in James Bond. Mel Gibson played the role of some Dark Ages conqueror without a wrinkle, zit or scar. This reminds me of the last Olympics where some spear-chucking American athelete was chucking spears and participating in some other events. Must have been some steroid-pumped all-around. Well, he had a baby’s face attached to an adult body. And that’s what such films remind me of.
I can’t stand actors who portray someone who’s supposedly been weeks on some expedition, at the same time, looks like he just checked out of the Paris Hilton. That sucks, sir and I won’t have it :mad:
