...means "Victory of Faith." I bought this film from Irving. It is was the 1933 Leni Riefenstahl precursor to Triumph of the Will. Like Triumph, it is based on the annual NSDAP convention in Nuremberg. Post the Rohm purge, in 34, they suppressed this film in favor of Triumph. It was recently recovered and put into circulation.

It's not the spectacle of Triumph, but one can see the same vision at work.

Unfortunately I was watching it late and so beat from work I dozed off during somebody OTHER than Hitler's speech.

The most interesting thing to me in the part I watched, was a speech of a high ranking Italian fascist commending Hitler. I think that part was not duplicated for Triumph. I wonder if any Italians spoke at the 34 conference at all. I'm guessing not.

Has anybody else seen this? How about some of you in house movie buffs?
