"Five UConn football players were arrested after an incident in which a car window was shot out by a pellet gun in Willimantic, sending a 55-year-old woman to the hospital.
The five players, scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court May 23, have been suspended from the team indefinitely, coach Randy Edsall said.
Safety Donta Moore, cornerback Tyvon Branch, safety Marvin Taylor, defensive end Dan Davis and linebacker Danny Lansanah were arrested Sunday at 12:30 a.m. following a complaint at a convenience store.
All five were charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, which is a felony."
