MANCHESTER, England - Now that he's taken his IBF light-welterweight title, Ricky Hatton is out to prove he's the new Kostya Tszyu.
The unbeaten Englishman took everything the former undisputed champion could throw at him in the early hours Sunday - and then forced the Russian-born Australian to quit on his stool at the end of round 11.
The 26-year-old Hatton, a veteran of 39 fights, will now look to unify the title like Tszyu did when he beat Zab Judah 3 1/2 years ago.
He knows he has time on his side.
