NCAA kikes ban Indian nicknames.

If I were in charge of Illinois, I would change "Chief Illiniwek" to a hasidic outfit and call him "Schmuely Kikenstein"

NCAA Bans Indian Mascots From Postseason By MICHAEL MAROT, AP Sports Writer
9 minutes ago

The NCAA banned the use of American Indian mascots by sports teams during its postseason tournaments, but will not prohibit them otherwise.

The NCAA's executive committee decided this week the organization did not have the authority to bar Indian mascots by individual schools, committee chairman Walter Harrison said Friday.

Nicknames or mascots deemed "hostile or abusive" would not be allowed by teams on their uniforms or other clothing beginning with any NCAA tournament after Feb. 1, said Harrison, the University of Hartford's president.

"What each institution decides to do is really its own business" outside NCAA championship events, he said.

At least 18 schools have mascots the NCAA would deem "hostile or abusive," including Florida State's Seminole and Illinois' Illini. The full list of schools was not immediately released.

Not all schools with Indian-related nicknames would be on that list. NCAA officials said some schools using the Warrior nickname do not use Indian symbols and would not be affected.

Vernon Bellecourt, president of the National Coalition on Racism in Sports and Media, was pleased with the postseason ban but wanted even stronger action by the NCAA.

"We would have hoped the NCAA would have provided the moral leadership on this issue, but obviously they've chosen to only go halfway," said Bellecourt, a member of the Anishinabe-Ojibwe Nation in Minnesota.

The NCAA two years ago recommended that schools determine for themselves whether the Indian depictions were offensive.

Among the schools to change nicknames in recent years over such concerns were St. John's (from Redmen to Red Storm) and Marquette (from Warriors to Golden Eagles).

The NCAA plans to ban schools using Indian nicknames from hosting postseason events. Harrison said schools with such mascots that have already been selected as tournament sites would be asked to cover any offensive logos.

Such logos also would be prohibited at postseason games on cheerleader and band uniforms starting in 2008.

For once, I agree with the NCAA banning a so-called "offensive" nickname or mascot, because Indian nicknames and mascots offend me!!! The NCAA long ago banned (or all but banned) Confederate and other pro-White nicknames and mascots from its colleges, so why should we as pro-White activists give a flying full moon about the NCAA banning 'hi-how-are-ya' images from its schools? I feel the same way about state flags. The NCAA has basically banned any sports tournament from taking place in Mississippi and South Carolina, the only two states where the Confederate Battle Flag flies in a place of sovereignty. (Georgia's current flag is based on the Confederate National Flag known as the "Stars and Bars," not the Battle Flag.) The NCAA should take this to the next logical step and ban any sports tournament from any state having injun images in their state flags. These states include Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Florida (which has both injun and Confederate imagery) and New Mexico. Hell, if the NCAA banned any tournaments in my home state of Virginia because our flag has nudity on it, I would applaud this decision. Who wants hordes of money grubbing jews, nonwhites and self-hating wiggers invading their home state? Oh, wait. That's already happened. Sorry. Well, an NCAA ban would keep a few thousand more subhumans out of our state, even for a short time. :box:

We should have exterminated those redskins when we had the chance.

Now they're cheating retired White people out of their life savings in their filthy indian casinos. Of course, the jew is helping with the financing of their greed machines.

I never minded the injun names...if anything it should be considered endearing rather than offensive. Ahh well.

Now they're cheating retired White people out of their life savings in their filthy indian casinos. Of course, the jew is helping with the financing of their greed machines. The jew isn't just "helping." The jew is running the whole show. Every "indian" casino was planned out by the jew. The jew finances the petitioning to establish the casinos, the jew builds the damn things and the jew runs them. The agreement with the injuns is an up-front payment for "leasing" rights, followed by a percentage of the take. No indian actually runs any "indian casino."
