People a long time ago mainly did the Adkins diet because that is what they had to eat. Fat and meat and good produce.

I had a friend that tried to argue with me about the Adkins diet.
Everything she bought was "FAT FREE" and she wasn't loosing weight.
I pointed out the sugar on all her labels of crap she was eating.....and she couldn't believe it........that's all fat free crap is. They take out the fat and leave the sugar in.........AND PEOPLE JUST LOVE THEIR FAT FREE CRAP!

Yeah when I was ten years old my GREAT granfather was 98! And still in his RIGHT state of mind! You could carry on a conversation with him as though he were 25 years old! He smoked EVERY day of his life! He was healthy and had NO problems such as being a dibetic, high blood preasure, high colestrol or none of that.
Come to think of it he DID the Adkins diet... He ate NO sugar! And very little bread.
He did eat a lot of High Fat stuff like Adkins says. Heavy cream, meat, fish, good produce, and walked every day!
He was prob the most healthy one in the family! He did have his CLEAR alcohol too like Adkins says you can drink clear things like Vodka. Only his wasn't Vodka I don't think :D because what he drank came in little MASON jars.
He rolled his own smokes, and the tobacco was PURE! It wasn't like the tobacco we know today. My Great granfather and my granfather were both tobacco and Hog farmers.
When I was a little girl I use to go with my granfather to the Tobacco Warehouse's where I'm from in NC........
The tobacco I saw when i was a child isn't like it is today. It was MUCh better than what they have today with NO chemicals.

I think the worst are fast food restaurants.
Whenever I eat their food, i gain 5 pounds. However if I cook homemade hamburgers, i Don't gain any weight. I don't think they use real food.

a better word for the thing you want to say. 'Scheißekopf' doesn't exist.
