Since when did the Soviet navy have undetectable submarines which could not be sunk by the Swedes?

*BG* I think you need to read up on your history. You can't just cherry-pick stuff and think it makes you look smart. Sweden chased suspected Soviet submarine activity throughout the latter part of the Cold War. Oops, didn't know that, did you? It was done mainly in the extremely difficult waters of the Stockholm archipelago, where the different water segments make it well-nigh impossible to find a submarine that doesn't want to be found. I'll spare you the details, you wouldn't understand them anyway. And actually, there are three very interesting stories about Swedish military activity aimed at the Soviet Union that were classified until recently, though I don't feel inclined to write about them here.

Perhaps it was ZOG propaganda that made it out to be a diplomatic suck-poop.
Fredrik Hearne is keeping this recently released to the public information classified. Does anyone know of the existance of this or is this myth?

I just posted about Navy Seal recruitment. If I get an expert reply, I'll send him to this thread

Well, I don't know what information Freddie's hoilding back besides the truth:
"...THE INCIDENT
In October 1981, the Russian Submarine W-137 accidently navigated on an underwater rock about 2 km from the Swedish main Naval Base at Karlskrona. The boat was stucked on the rock for nearly 10 days. The Russian Navy sent a rescue task force to the site in Sweden; it was composed of heavily armed destroyers and high sea tugs.

As a result of negotiations between the Kremlin and the Swedish Goverment, the master on the Russian Submarine was taken ashore for a hearing. Very little came out of it. The submarine was released to the Russian. The matter was first-page news and closely watched by CBS, BBC, ATV and others..."

Well, sounds like Sweden was about to take on some heavy destroyers here. Maybe they would have done things differently had the intruding submarine belonged to Ecuador.
I wonder if the German 3. Reich would have hesitated on sinking an intruding submarine along with some destroyers
