View Full Version : WN Mutual Fund?

How feasable is the idea of starting a WN mutual fund? Are there any WN companies at all? How about the Institute for Historical Review? What about any record labels? A military surplus mail order outfit? a civil war memorabilia business? A media publishing company?
If we build the Mutual Fund first, maybe other WNists will have incentive to put together compnaies like that for us to invest in!
Even a Mutual fund that loses money would be a success, because it would employ a few WN staffers, and get the ball rolling on good projects, right?

IHR is a nonprofit.
all pro-White publishing businesses are privately owned. a minority interest in a private company is generally a bad investment.
ergo, your idea though laudable out-of-the-box thinking, has some serious practical impediments that keep it from moving forward.
not that this is impossible. however it would have to be run as a Venture Capital firm, not a mutual fund, and probably need to be run by one guy with big pockets.

For the hell of it A.E., whatcha think of some enterprising VNN'ers pooling up say $10,000, and purchasing two 12-month silver options. There's a $10,000 profit per buck that silver goes up. If say we get in at today's price of silver which is around $9.00 per ounce, and during the 12 months, silver goes to say $25 per ounce, we' make a whooping $150,000 in profits. And if it goes up to the 1979 price which was $41 per ounce, we'll make $310,000 in profits.
What with the "balloon" about to go up, economically speaking, it might not be a bad "venture". If we get lucky, we could buy our own newspaper printing press, rent a suitable building, and pay a part time printer's salary, to boot. We could print newspapers for every WN group in the world cheaply and still make profits on that venture, as well. (And I wouldn't have to drive 1,200 freakin miles to pick up TAAs no mo).

the printer thing sounds like a good business idea but I wouldnt talk about good ideas like that over the public message board!
but I dont like the silver part. I have been hearing for years how silver is undervalued but it never quite seems to pop. I wouldnt want to be responsible for sucking somebody into such a risky investment.
but again I like the publishing ideas and I think that should be followed up on in private. as always your ideas are sharp and worthy of follow up.

Thanks. I always value your thoughts and ideas, even those I don't agree with 100 percent.
