Does anyone here use a rowing machine? I'm thinking about buying one. I heard the rowing motion is a great exercise ( non-jarring ). Also good cardio/muscle building. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I own a rowing machine and I use it everyday. Rowing on a rowing machine will enhance the muscular strength and muscular endurance levels of the mid-torso muscle and lower body's muscle groups. Rowing also incorporates the upper back muscles, shoulder muscles, triceps, biceps and forearms.

yep helps build overall strength and not just running endurance which is what most cardio exercises do.

the machines are expensive but they always have them at gyms. try your local college gym if you cant afford a private club.
