Spain's Olympic basketball team posed for an advertisement prior to the Games which appears to show all its players slanting their eyes, a move that could offend its Olympic hosts in Beijing. The ads, for a Spanish courier company, appeared in the Spanish-language newspaper La Marca.

"It's something that I haven't seen since I was a kid," said Sarah Smith, a spokesman for the Organization of Chinese Americans in Washington, D.C. "I can't speak for what is considered funny in Spain. I don't know if it has the same impact that it would here. It's clearly racist, and not even in a jovial way."

There's jovial racism? I can do jovial!

The Chinamen cannot deny their squinted eyes, so how on earth is it "racist?"

The Chinese aren't complaining. But I guess the Chinese could smear shit on their skin to "pretend" to be spaniards. Hmmm! :D

Spain also threw bananas at the one black player on their soccer team.

Tard corral nominee above.

I have news for anybody who cares...if a "Spaniard" has shitty skin, he's about as "Spanish" as a nigger can be "Swedish".

There's more Nordic types in the Spanish part of my family than in either the Scottish or the Irish parts. Nordics aren't the only "Whites", but you get my point.

It appears that the spirit of Francisco Franco lives on in Spain. :)
Let the Chineese hoot and howl about it.:OGB:

Interestingly, the Spanish basketball team took on China tonight, winning 85-75 in overtime.

Ha ha ha!

The Chinese crowd did have a message for the Spaniards though, booing vigorously during the game.

HA HA HA! Give it your best shot, slit eyes. Didn't help, did it?

Mocked, and then denied a chance at poetic justice. Oh, the humanity. Ha ha ha!

Where is the judenpresse to shout about this from the rooftops???

Oh yeah, in slope country, there isn't any judenpresse.

:D

Still, I wonder why the jewsmedia aren't shoving this down the throats of the kwans', ad nausem...

Surely they can milk some good old White guilt out of this. Pure gold, it'z.

When Whites imitate chinky eyes, that's an example of Evil Whitey!

When Asians get plastic surgery to look more White, that's another example of Evil Whitey! Cultural pressure forces them to go under the knife, because it's impossible to succeed in this world without looking "Western". At least, that's the party line. If they were honest they'd admit that they're jealous, and their fondest desire is to be White.

Beijing Olympics: Second Spanish team photographed making 'slit-eyed' gesture
A second group of Spanish Olympic athletes has been photographed making “slit-eyed” gestures, threatening to overshadow the Beijing Games with a row over racial stereotyping. [ slanty eyes is just a stereotype, Chinese actually don't have slanty eyes wtf?]

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00790/spainrace_790866c.jpg

The latest photo to emerge shows Spanish women tennis players pulling the pose, apparently in anticipation of their Federation Cup match against China in April.

Pictures of the Spanish men’s and women’s basketball teams making the gesture, a crude impersonation of Chinese people, were published in adverts in Spanish newspapers earlier this week.

The photos, which were reprinted around the world, added to Spanish sport's poor reputation for racial sensitivity.

The latest image appears to show players in Spain’s Federation Cup team doing the “slit-eyed” gesture along with members of their support staff. There is no suggestion that they intended to cause offence.

It was apparently taken after the team defeated Italy in the quarter-finals of the competition - the leading team contest for women tennis players - in Febraury. Wine glasses are visible on the table in front of the party.

The Spanish team that defeated the Italians included Lourdes Dominguez-Lino, Nuria Llagostera Vives, Anabel Medina Garrigues and Carla Suarez-Navarro.

Llagostera Vives, Medina Garrigues and Suarez-Navarro are all competing at the Games in Beijing.

The photo is still visible on the official website of the Spanish Tennis Federation, where it was spotted. The original is captioned “Estamos preparados para China”, which translates as “We are prepared for China”.

Spain’s women tennis players defeated the Chinese team in their Federation Cup semi-final in April. The Spanish are due to play Russia in the final in September.

I think it's just a funny gesture, not anything representing real "racism" or hatred, like how one may pick on their friends or family.

Chinese get the last laugh, we're allowing our countries to be overrun by third world aliens while they protect their country. You didn't see them letting an African immigrant carry their flag like the Americans did.

Most of the older generation Asians envied round eyed people.
Things have changed, just look at the results in the Olympic competitions!

I've never seen any slit-eyed creature trying to vertically strech their eye lids in order to look non-Asian. (They don't have that kind of sense of humor).

My former French GF however occasionally manually elongated her otherwise round eyes while transforming her lips into some kind of ugly looking hemorrhoid. :D

Is the vanishing White Race already envisioning a time, when the slowly disappearing submissiv pride of Chinamen will mercilessly racially downprofile Westerners?
I hope I don't see the time, when Westerners make plastic :OGB:surgeons rich who are speciallising in slit-eye-operations. :)

I've been to several european countries in my life and far ahead of the rest as far as hating the nigger and the jew is Spain. It's weird because you go to Portugal and it is the complete opposite. It's like your in (current) Germany or Sweden. Niggers are worshipped as gods.

It's not that they don't have that sense of humor it's just that it wouldn't be particularly offensive. Many years of European domination have made all non-Whites to this day feel ashamed for being non-White.

I am sure that if a Jew doctor gets such an idea it will happen with a few years. White kids are already trying to look as niggery as possible.

But what about Japanese Anime? Are the eyes of those drawn characters not streched upwards?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/olympics/2581173/Beijing-Olympics-Now-Argentinas-footballers-photographed-making-slit-eyed-gesture.html

A photo showing four members of Argentina’s Olympic women’s football team making “slit-eyed” gestures has emerged on the internet, just days after two Spanish sports teams were criticised for pulling similar poses.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00792/arg460_792528c.jpg

The image shows players Maria Potassa, Eva Gonzalez, Fabiana Vallejos and Andrea Ojeda smiling broadly as they pull back the skin on the side of their eyes, in a crude impersonation of Chinese people.

There is no suggestion that the four footballers intended to cause offence.

The photo was published - without provoking controversy - in the Argentine sports newspaper Ole on Aug 5, to accompany a preview of the team’s first match of the tournament against Canada.

It was taken more than a week before adverts featuring the Spanish men’s and women’s basketball teams in similar poses sparked international criticism.

Last Thursday a photo emerged of members of Spain’s Olympic women’s tennis team pulling the same face earlier this year, in anticipation of an upcoming match against China.

The rows sparked by the photos have highlighted how standards about the acceptability of racial stereotyping vary widely between countries, even in the West.

Much of the criticism of the Spanish teams has come from the English-speaking blogosphere, prompting some complaints from Spain about alleged Anglo-Saxon hostility to Madrid’s 2016 Olympic bid.

The players involved in the photos have expressed their shock that others may find them offensive. Pau Gasol, one of the Spanish basketballers, said it was "absurd" to consider the gesture racist.

"I'm sorry if anybody thought or took it the wrong way and thought that it was offensive," he wrote on his blog.

Argentina’s women footballers had a torrid time at the Beijing Games, losing all their three games, including a 2-0 defeat to China in their final match.

Stereotype thinking.
There is not such a thing like "Japanese Anime", because in different "japanese anime" you'll find different eye shapes.
The MTV style garbage however features mainly the cliche you are attacking.

Big eyes are exotic for Asians, at least for those with small eyes. (Like going into the ZOO!)

BTW there are millions of Japanese with naturally round eyes.
And another fact: there are Millions of Japaneses who's skin is way whiter than the so called "White man's" :)

Relax, I'm not attacking anything.

Have jews taken over Japan's TV like they have in USA and Europe?

How can I tell which cartoons are "MTV" and which are real Japanese?

The Japs go with the flow.
Great admiration and exposure for those who have been successful in the US.
Make feel good TV.

The "once upon a time" fairy tale ones usually depict the fathomless sophisticated intricacies of a really exotic (mostly slit-eyed) brand of people.

Uh I don't know which Japanese you are talking about but most of them aren't round-eyed and most of them aren't White in skin pigment. It's why the stereotype emerged that they have slits for eyes and yellow skin. A lot of the celebrity round-eyed, white-skinned, large-breasted Jap girls are just made that way through surgery. They also make sure to define the eye-lid which is something that is typically not define among Asians.
