This article is from October I came across it today , in light of his public campaign he was awarded “Marketer of the Year” .
Obama Wins! ... Ad Age's Marketer of the Year (http://adage.com/moy2008/article?article_id=131810)
"I honestly look at [Obama's] campaign and I look at it as something that we can all learn from as marketers," said Angus Macaulay, VP-Rodale marketing solutions "To see what he's done, to be able to create a social network and do it in a way where it's created the tools to let people get engaged very easily. It's very easy for people to participate."
If any of those saps fooled enough by Obama's marketing campaign that he can go on indefinitely whilst he is President , then all I can say is caveat emptor! (Buyer Beware) . As any good advertising man can tell you, a product that does not function as advertised cannot sell for long. ;)
