How to install the feed notification software

1. Download and install a news feed reader program (which ever one you prefer) I suggest FeedReader (http://www.feedreader.com/download) (download the installer) or Google Reader (http://www.google.com/reader)

2. Follow the on screen installation pages.. hit next for each page.

3. Once the program starts up select from the menu File -> New -> Feed. A textbox will appear. Paste this URL into the box

4. Hit ok. You will notice it is now added in the left hand panel of newsfeeds

5. Ok you have to configure the newsfeed program now. From the menu select Tools -> Options

from the General tab select and check 'run program on startup' , 'start minimized to tray' , 'Open link in default browser' .. If you want a sound to play when new items come in check play sounds..

Press OK

6. Ok you're done. Leave the program running in your tray and it will notify you when someone needs help on a site

Sites can be anything.. A website that allows comments.. A youtube clip that has comments .. A poll that needs votes.. anything that requires voting or rating..
