Concealed Ethnic Cleansing Continues in Bosnia

Ethnic cleansing in Bosnia-Herzegovina is continuing in a concealed manner even after 14 years after the end of the war in the country and the direct consequence of it is the constant decrease in the number of Croats living in Bosnia, Sarajevo’s Archbishop, Cardinal Vinko Puljic, said on Friday.

“The ethnic cleansing is continuing with a ‘silent outflow of people’”, said Cardinal Puljic at a news conference on occasion of the Easter holidays.

Three thousand less Catholics than last year

He explained that, as opposed to war brutalities, people are now using “perfidious administrative ways” to make life difficult for people and force them to leave.

- According to the latest data we have, in Bosnia there are 213,000 Catholics, which is 3,000 less than last year – Puljic said.

He stressed that they are mostly elderly people, while young people are not even returning to their home country.

Cardinal Puljic once again reiterated that nothing efficient is being done on the political plan in Bosnia-Herzegovina to change the situation and the way the country is currently organised cannot be a guarantee of improvement for any of the peoples living in it.

He recalled the suggestion of the Bosnian Bishops’ Conference about an internal reorganisation of the country where the highest, state level would guarantee the basic rights and freedoms, while the middle level would be envisaged for regions in which not one of the peoples would number make up for no more than 30 percent and no less than 40 percent of the population.

In municipalities, the principle: one man-one vote would be valid for regulating the issue of local self-government.

- That would be an organisation in which nobody would be in jeopardy – Cardinal Puljic said.

Instead of joining in a combined assault on the Bosnian muslims with the BSA and securing a sizeable compact chunk of Bosnia for themselves..{which would basically include apart from croat west Herzegovina the Cazinska Krajina and most of central Bosnia}.. they threw their lot in with the muslims and NATO in hopes of crushing Republika Srpska and eliminating the entire Serb population of Bosnia. They were even willing to sacrifice croats in muslim dominated areas in order to achieve their totally unrealistic objective of a Serb free Bosnia.
Basically when it comes to Bosnia the croats want all or nothing as can be seen from the common prevailing attitude among their pro ustasha nationalists who would rather see a fundamentalist muslim government in Sarajevo controlling all of Bosnia {including croat areas} than a rational, mutually beneficial Serb croat agreement dividing Bosnia between our two nations, while destroying the turko muslims in the process. It really is quite pathetic and in the end self destructive but what can one do? Thats how they play the game.

Just over a year later many of these same people were involved in NATO backed operation Storm against Serbs. Goes to show once again that no good deed EVER goes unpunished.

Thank you for the information, it's typical of Hurwats to babble on about how you love to loot everything and how asiatic you are and then forget such events, not only forget but also cooperate with NATO after this good deed.
