STOP PRESS: Eight masked thugs run into a police ambush at David Irving's Chicago dinner last night; arrested for criminal damage, inflicting bodily harm on guests; held overnight and awaiting charge. More details later. Another grave defeat for the traditional enemies of free speech.

I have heard several second- or third-hand reports. There has been nothing in the media yet.

With her free left hand, J. has flipped her phone open, and hits the police number: "We have that problem, right now!" she snaps, sotto voce. Language a tad vague to me, but I hear the dispatcher calmly reply, "The police are already there."

Thanks to J.'s early warning, that is: it has turned into an ambush for the thugs. This is going to be good. They are ransacking and searching the restaurant, but can't find us. There are violent bangs as somebody starts kicking our door; J. shouts through the door that she is armed and to stand back from the door. But now it is the management banging, shrieking hysterically at us to get out. That's nice.

Eight antifa carried out the attack. Five were arrested a short time later when the police stopped their car. Sources confirm that the man seen in this video from 0:17 to 0:23 is suspected of having organized the attack. (He was not among the five or the eight.)

Got to meet her at the David Irving meeting here in Richmond, VA (zero problems here) a hard working, dedicated and obviously brave girl who puts most men to shame.

There were only five arrests. Eight perpetrators attacked the restaurant. Five of them were later arrested in their car.

As for the "police blotter", it is just a newspaper column and doesn't even claim to be complete.

By all accounts "J" earned her stripes this trip. Hope she signs on next time. I enjoyed meeting her and was very impressed how well she handles herself considering her young age. "J" put up with the old man, we like having you around kid.
