CCR Someday Never Comes
Lyrics: First thing I remember was askin' papa, "Why?", For there were many things I didn't know. And Daddy always smiled; took me by the hand, Sayin', "Someday you'll understand." CHORUS: Well, I'm here to tell you now each and ev'ry mother's son You better learn it fast; you better learn it young, 'Cause, "Someday" Never Comes." Well, time and tears went by and I collected dust, For there were many things I didn't know. When Daddy went away, he said, "Try to be a man, And, Someday you'll understand." CHORUS And then, one day in April, I wasn't even there, For there were many things I didn't know. A son was born to me; Mama held his hand, Sayin' "Someday you'll understand." CHORUS Think it was September, the year I went away, For there were many things I didn't know. And I still see him standing, try'n' to be a man; I said, "Someday you'll understand." CHORUS Mmmm-mmmm-mmmm.... |

CCR Run Through The Jungle
Lyrics: Oh thought it was a nightmare Though it come so true They told me don't go walking slow The devil's on the loose Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Don't look back to see Thought I heard a rumbling Calling to my name Two hundred million guns are loaded Satan cries take aim Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Don't look back to see Over on the mountain Thunder magic spoke Let the people know my wisdom Fill the land with smoke Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Better run through the jungle Don't look back to see |

Johann Sebastian Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor BWV 565
If you have eight odd minutes to spare, it would be well spent listening to this wonderful piece by Bach played by Hans-Andre Stamm on the 1741 Trost organ. One of my personal favorites Last edited by T.Garrett; July 19th, 2016 at 02:57 AM. |
