Default Mestiza during bar brawl: "All the whites will die tonight"

Quote:
SHENANDOAH - A borough woman with a lengthy criminal record faces aggravated assault and a litany of other charges after a brawl inside M&T Bar, 200 S. Main St., late Wednesday night, police said.
Authorities allege Miriam Leticia Malave, 36, of 35 S. Main St., also yelled, "All the whites will die tonight," while she and three others beat numerous people inside the bar.
She also allegedly hit bartender Melissa Elrod with a baseball bat.
Three Hispanic males were also involved in the fight, police said, though they are not named in court documents. The fight broke out at 11:36 p.m. when a Hispanic male allegedly punched a white male in the face. Two other men then joined in the fighting, as did Malave, police said.
Another man tried to break up the fight, and was also thrown to the ground and beaten, police said.
Elrod then picked up a baseball bat from behind the bar to defend herself, but was quickly grabbed by two of the men, police said. Malave then allegedly struck Elrod in the left arm and side with the baseball bat while the two men held her.
Eventually, Elrod escaped and called police.
Malave faces two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, one count of making terroristic threats and one count of harassment, according to the criminal complaint filed Thursday in Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker's office, Shenandoah.
Malave remains in county prison, in lieu of $25,000 straight cash bail.
Schuylkill County District Attorney James P. Goodman said Thursday that Malave has other criminal cases pending.
In September 2009, Malave allegedly stabbed a woman in the left thigh and abdomen during a fight outside La Casita bar, 8 E. Centre St., Shenandoah.
She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, harassment and other offenses following that incident.
Malave was also convicted of disorderly conduct in 2007 after an incident the previous year.
Malave and three Hispanic men tried to assault three people with baseball bats on Aug. 7, 2006, according to court records. Malave and the men instead began smashing the victims' cars with the bats before police arrived, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Authorities initially charged Malave with ethnic intimidation after the 2006 incident, but those charges were later dropped, according to records. Charges of criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person and conspiracy were also dropped.
Goodman left open the possibility of further charges against Malave stemming from Wednesday night's fight, including ethnic intimidation.
"We'll look at it and if it's appropriate, charges will be added," Goodman said Thursday.
Goodman had no further comment on the case.
Shenandoah Patrolman Robert Senape, investigating officer in the case, could not be reached for comment Thursday. It is unclear whether charges will be filed against the three men also involved in the fight.
