Forty or fifty years ago Prichard wasn't the nigger hell-hole it is today. Note carefully the race of these retired pensioners depending on a nigger fucked city government for their future pension.

Prichard Pensioners Will Continue to Wait for Paycheck



Prichard pensioners found no relief in bankruptcy court. The City of Prichard hasn't paid them in six months, and a judge Tuesday said, the city doesn't have to pay them for at least two more months. The city has until May 19th to come up with a long term plan.

A crowd of upset [White men and women!] pensioners trickled out of court with no clear idea of when relief will come. Bobby Holified retired two years ago and says he's already blown through what little savings he had and is now depending on relatives for support.

"It's a bad situation. I've worked all these years thinking I could retire in dignity and you don't have dignity when you don't have a check coming in," said Holifield.

The city is supposed to pay out roughly $150,000 each month to pensioners. But it hasn't paid for six months, meaning the city owes retirees close to $1 million. And with Tueday's ruling, the city will only continue to fall further behind.

"The court simply has no authority to require them to do anything," said Prichard pensioners' attorney Robert Hedge.

[Then who does have the authority? Maybe a couple of those pensioners realizing they have nothing to lose will start shooting the bastards that created this nigger fucked mess and those who continue to obstruct justice.]

A no-show at the hearing was Prichard's Mayor Ron Davis. His absence, to some, signaled indifference to the issue.

[It would be harder to imagine an nigger mayor with any sensitivity to the plight of hurting people. Especially White people. Niggers don't have the ability to empathize with humans.]

"The mayor's never met with any of the retirees. We've tried several times, he don't meet with us," said Gene Everett.

The city's bankruptcy attorney says there's simply not enough money to go around but officials are working on a solution. Though pensioners didn't get what they were hoping for, Hedge says it's a step in the right direction.

"It was a small victory to make them realize, we're not going away one, and two, they do have an obligation to the pensioners," said Hedge.

The city's bankruptcy attorney said he foresees pensioners will be paid something in the future. City officials had no comment.

$1 Million Unaccounted For in Prichard

Where did one million dollars go in the city of Prichard? As pensioners go without a check,City Councilman Troy Ephriam is calling for an audit of the city's 2008 and 2009 budget, to uncover how the money was spent.

"That's a lot of money," Ephriam said. He says his records show that $1 million was added in last-minute amendments over last year's budget, money that he says never was put up for approval by the Council.

"By law, any expenditure over and above has to come before the City Council before those items can be spent and that did not happen," Ephriam said.

For retirees like Billy Williamson, who has now gone six months without his pension check from the city, it's just one more thing to deal with.

"They ought to go to jail," Williamson said. "It'd make anyone angry."

Ephriam says he's trying to investigate whether someone in the administration acted illegally.

"That'll be up to the courts to determine," Ephriam said. "My concern is for the Council to be able to move forward and do what it needs to do as a governing body."

Prichard now owes pensioners $900,000.

Mayor Ronald K. Davis

Ron Davis was elected Mayor of the City of Prichard Alabama in October, 2004. Since then, he has earned a distinguished reputation for innovative leadership, and making a better quality of life for the citizens of the City of Prichard by creating programs for a cleaner and safer environment. He has also solved or implemented actions for a variety of other internal and external challenges facing the City of Prichard.

Immediately the progress began. Mayor Davis working with the City Council and other leaders in the community began the journey of change starting from the ground up. Changing the garbage collection services for the citizens and adjusting the plan into a new program that is best for the City and the citizens of Prichard. His vision was to achieve the unachievable. He has and he is continuing to face old and new challenges with solutions. He accelerated existing programs and pushed for new common-sense approaches that resulted in the City coming out of bankruptcy a year earlier, and by recruiting leaders to implement and develop programs, like the Riding Dirty, Weed and Seed programs, and Operation Roll Call. These programs are cleaning the streets and taking care of the citizens.

He has taken step to solve complex issues and problems for the city of Prichard. Bringing in new business: Fed Ex, Texaco, and working with the Alabama Motorsports Park to bring entertainment for the entire family as well as jobs for our citizens and commerce for our existing businesses including the City of Prichard as part of the International Trade Zone.
As Mayor, Davis has kept to his vision of revitalizing a once great city. Many streets have been paved, downtown Prichard has been given a facelift, with sunlight pouring over the freshly painted building and a new season has started for Prichard.

Mayor Davis believes the best way to serve the people is to be with the people. He serves as the Chairman of Trustee's and a Deacon at Yorktown Missionary Baptist Church. He is a board member of the Mobile Area Education Foundation, he serves as a member of the advisory board of the Women's Federated Club. But it doesn't stop there. Mayor Davis understands that in order for Prichard to continue to succeed and grow, he will need to actively pursue the knowledge from other leaders of successful cities. This has led him to become part of a larger group of leaders, he was voted as Interim President for the World Conference of Mayor's, he is a board member of the National Conference of Black Mayors and the recipient of the Valiant Award. Mayor Davis is the President of the Alabama Conference of Black Mayors and he is a board member of the National League of Cities. The information he receives from this network is brought back to the City of Prichard and can be seen implemented through the successful programs throughout the city.


Leadership as Mayor comes with much responsibility. The citizens of Prichard, the employees of the City of Prichard and everyone that comes to Prichard to work, play, or live look to Mayor Davis to protect, provide, and plan. Priorities for the mayor are to keep our neighborhoods safe, create jobs and opportunities for our residents and businesses,and to build strong families and a healthy community.

Ron Davis is a 1985 graduate of Troy State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Rehabilitation Services. His many public service accomplishments all go toward being a part of making a difference in our community to help achieve the unachievable.

I wonder if it would be possible to find out if anyone is still receiving a pension check and the race of said individual/s.150k a month seems a little low if no one was getting a pension check, so is it just Whites not getting a check? Just wondering.
