US-German friendship celebrated in New York parade

New York - Thousands of people celebrated friendship between the US and Germany at the traditional Steuben parade in New York on Saturday afternoon.

The colourful procession of folk-dance groups, brass bands and rifle associations, was led along Fifth Avenue by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

His Hamburg counterpart, Ole von Beust, was a guest of honour at the parade and former US supermodel Carol Alt, who has German ancestry, was grand marshall.

Around 22 brass bands and other groups numbering some 1,000 members had travelled from Germany, many of them from Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg states.

Several US-German associations from both the US and Canada also took part.

German beer was served from an authentic wooden keg, brought over specially from Munich, at the closing festival in Central Park.

The parade is named after the Prussian officer Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben (1730-1793), who fought alongside the Americans against the British in the War of Independence.

One in four Americans is believed to have German ancestry, making them the largest ethnic group in the US.

As I post this on the morning of 09/17, Google news shows
exactly two hits for this story, both of them originating from
a German source, Deutsche Presse-Agenteur. One site is
the one I noted above, in the UK, the other one is some
sort of news blog called Raw Story, that takes Paypal
donations.

Not a single mainstream US news source has acknowledged
the fact that thousands of proud, White Germans paraded
through NYC to celebrate their heritage.

Does anyone want to try to tell me again that the jews don't
control the media?

Asshole, don't portray every non-WN event as "lemming" and every non-WN White as our personal enemy. Not every little thing has to be "Sieg heil!" in order to be worthwhile. Ethnic White events of any sort are above-average in terms of the kind of people you'll meet. Maybe if you went to one instead of your usual hiphop events, you'd realize that.

lol I dont recall what was the last time I heard hip hop. Most of what I do is read race-related, anthropological studies and read about how the fight for the existence of our people is going on worldwide. I dont think the people there are particulary bright, certainly traditionalism is quite a lemming thing.

Im sure a few of them do. I had the experience of meeting very "euro-patriotic" girls who date nonwhites. At any rate my remark was concerning the nature of the event and how it would relate to any racial matter.

An event like this is a wet dream for distributors of pro-white material. When events like this are planned, WNs in the area should band together, whether they be Klan, NSM, Stormfront, NV or anything else and canvas the area.

10 activists x 500 tabloids, flyers, business cards, or what ever = 5000 of our target audience. No hit and miss like the door to door drops.

What's there to be clever about? This would seem to be a cultural event, not an endorsement of the policies of the current German government. Explain why the organizers and participants need to be "clever" here, and what sort of actions would illustrate that "cleverness".

Clever wouldnt be dancing in ridiculous clothes and following rituals for herd animals. It would be taking part of something of intellectual value. Somehow you want this suddenly to be a "proud white" event when white pride (as in white nationalism) is a deep ideology compromising a way of life and Weltanschauung which has nothing to do with some silly party of little girls. Germans breed 1.4 kids, what we do about it? Dance and celebrate. ok great, go on dancing until you die.

Dancing and festive activities may well seem ridiculous to you, but they are not a bad way to meet girls, and a wholesome event like this might draw the nicer ones. Can we stipulate that there is value in meeting girls? Or perhaps you share Ernst Roehm's Weltanschauung on the matter.

we are talking about girls now? honestly i dont know how good they are for meeting girls. Probably the german grils are the ones dancing not viewing, besides you can find a white woman in any other place. why go to that party? I dont think there is any good place to meet girls, not any decent place anyway. Giving women control of mating or permitting them to have it was one of the most stupid mistakes that could ever be made.
