I just saw a local TV report and the niggers are going ape-shit in front of the city commissioners over this. The city told the chimps that there was nothing that they could do about it. However they did suggest to the Confederate Sons that should fly an American flag every other day. The moron commissioners needed to be reminded that the south was fighting against the United States.

Actually, they ARE flying an American flag-the Confederate States of AMERICA Battle Flag of the ANV. They could fly a flag of the United States directly under the super Confederate Flag-a 4x6 inch stick flag attached to the rope. No, even that would be a disgrace.

It would be a disgrace to fly the ZOG flag on the same pole as the Confederate Flag anyway, as I said before.

It seems that the SCV is going all out to fly giant Confederate Flags in Florida. Fine, but they have to ruin it by creating a memorial to nigger COONfederates. The niggers are STILL bitching about the flag as I expected them to do. Niggers cannot be appeased, but the SCV never stops trying.

Here in Virginia, The SCV are paying for three statues-Jefferson Davis, his son that was killed in a fall from the second story of the Confederate White House, and the nigger boy he "adopted." Rumor has it these statues will be placed alongside the Lincoln statue at Tredegar in Richmond. EVERYTHING the SCV does is tainted because they are trying to portray the Confederacy as multiracial and multicultural and the North as racist, which is crap and they know it. Also, they bitch, whine and moan about the cost of having public events, while in reality they could have a dozen or more parades for what one of these giant flags cost. Hell, it would be far cheaper to give away 100 3x5 flags and have 100 different places fly them than to pay for one chinese made 30x50 flag. And if these flags didn't cost enough, these statues have to cost at least $100,000 total. For that they could have a public event every day for a year!!! The hypocrisy that the SCV displays has earned them my wrath and the hope that they will rot in the lowest level of the abyss.

True, but I wonder if a conviction under these laws would stand. It's also illegal to burn an american flag in most places, but the Supremes have said it's protected free speech. So why wouldn't the 'message' conveyed by flying the US flag underneath the CSA flag also be protected speech?

Or lets try this: Fly the CSA flag over the Israeli flag with the US flag under both.

Commissioners plead with confederate flag leader

TAMPA -- Hillsborough County Commissioners pleaded this morning with the leader of a group installing a massive confederate battle flag to consider other ways to observe his heritage than flying it over the junction where Interstates 4 and 75 meet.

Commissioners were told by one of the county's attorneys that Marion Lambert, who unfurled the flag on Tuesday, appears to have complied with all the rules in preparing a Civil War memorial. With that, a majority of commissioners attempted a more emotional appeal.

"We don't need to fragment our community," said Commissioner Rose Ferlita, who brought the issue forward for discussion. "We need to blend it."

Commissioners got a taste of the wounds that may be opened when community activist Michelle Williams addressed them, displaying two blown-up images of lynchings.

"You want to put that flag up and you want to remind people what it stands for?" said Williams, her voice rising in volume as she turned to address Lambert. "It's not going to happen."

Yes it is, Lambert said afterward. He said he has been seeking since 2006 to have commissioners sign a simple proclamation to honor confederate history. Commissioners refused and so he has resorted to this.

"We've been marginalized, put off the table," Lambert said. "Now they want to talk to us? Hey, your wife's done left you."

Confederate flag again stirs racial tension in Tampa area

TAMPA — It appears more and more likely that Hillsborough County soon will be known as home to one of the nation's largest Confederate battle flags.

Members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans raised the flag Tuesday at the junction of Interstate 75 and U.S. 92, setting off a fiery debate over Southern heritage, racism and private property rights.

On Wednesday, it became apparent that the only way 200,000 motorists a day will not drive by the 30-by-50 foot flag on its 139-foot pole is if the group changes its mind. Plans call for the flag to be part of a Confederate memorial to be dedicated on April 26, Confederate Memorial Day.

After discovering that they have no legal means to prohibit the gigantic flag, county commissioners pleaded with the group to voluntarily remove it and avoid fracturing the community along racial lines.

That does not appear likely.

"I think we're pretty firm in our resolve," said Phil Walters, a spokesman for the group.

Some black county residents for whom the flag represents slavery and racism vowed that it would come down. They threatened an economic boycott and protests that could sully the county's image as the nation focuses on Tampa in January as the site of the Super Bowl.

"You have a passive black community in Hillsborough County," said Eddie Adams, a black candidate for Congress in the 11th District. "This is going to awake a sleeping giant."

The issue already has drawn the attention of the county's tourism officials. A spokesman with Tampa Bay & Co., the county's tourism agency, said the group opposes flying the Confederate flag and would meet soon to decide whether to become involved in the dispute.

Commissioner Rose Ferlita asked the county's legal staff to examine permits issued to the Confederate-heritage group to make sure the flag meets zoning requirements for size and setbacks from property lines. Assistant County Attorney Adam Gormley said the flag, which is on private property, complied with all county codes.

Ferlita acknowledged the group's right to honor its ancestors but asked that it be done in a way that respects the feelings of black residents and others offended by the flag.

"History is history, but let's not be offensive to other people who don't have the same aspect of history as you have," Ferlita said.

Commissioner Jim Norman recalled a similar controversy years ago when civil rights groups pushed to have the Confederate battle flag removed from the county seal. The county adopted a new seal, and now the Confederate flag is displayed in the County Center with other flags that have flown over Florida.

"Calmer heads, calmer minds came through and saw how we could address that with respect to both sides," Norman said. "The war existed, people died, slavery happened, but that's not who we are today and let's move forward in the future."

Last year, the commission declined to endorse Confederate Memorial Day, which had been an annual tradition. Since that action, members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans have come to almost every commission meeting asking that the day be recognized.

On Wednesday, Marion Lambert of the group hinted that raising the flag was related to the commission's slight of the memorial day recognition.

"We have come to you numerous times," Lambert said. "All we ask for is recognition and a piece of paper, a simple honor given to us in representative form of our heritage."

Bart Siegel, a member of the Confederate-heritage group, challenged those who opposed the flag to a debate on the Confederacy's place in American history.

"Therefore, I challenge those that insist on calling the Confederate battle flag a symbol of hate to a debate," Siegel said. "I personally think they are wrong, and they owe the South an apology."

That idea was rejected by black members of the audience and several commissioners who said it would increase friction between blacks and whites.

Michelle Williams, representing the Community Activists of Public Affairs, demonstrated the outrage that the flag has generated in the black community by showing the commission posters of blacks lynched in Florida after the Civil War.

"There is a right way and wrong way to respect history," she said. "You don't see us out there flying flags of lynching."
