A POLISH builder loads his possessions on to a bus at London’s Victoria Coach Station and waves goodbye to Britain for good. Thomas Palczewski, a 30-year-old handyman, once earned £100 a day here but now reveals: “It’s time to go home. The money's just not here any more.” The army of Polish plumbers, electricians, builders and decorators that helped build Britain in the boom years is starting to head back east. At the moment it is just a trickle, but our credit crunch-ravaged nation is no longer the land of plenty it once was for many East Europeans. This country’s biggest-ever migration — which saw an estimated 1.3million Poles arrive in Britain and Ireland after Poland joined the EU in 2004 — has begun to reverse. Decorator Zenon Machura used to fit kitchens and paint the swanky houses of bankers and showbiz stars in Hampstead, north London. But when the bottom fell out of the property market, he was left jobless and homeless and began hitting the bottle. Now back in Poland, he could not afford even the £70 bus fare to his homeland despite 18 months of hard graft in Britain. The dad of two — who was raking in £1,050 a month cash-in-hand in London for working six-day weeks — said: “I was earning what I considered decent cash and was sending it back to Poland to build a house. There was always work in London. “Then the jobs dried up and I started drinking heavily. I think many more Poles will follow me home.” Every fortnight a free minibus leaves Hammersmith in west London packed with Poles left destitute after their dream of finding riches here turned sour. Welder Rafael Ziajor, 31, who used to earn £8 an hour working in Bedford, said: “I found the streets of Britain aren’t paved with gold. My work dried up and I was left sleeping rough in London. I was so relieved to get the bus back to Poland.” Rafael and his posse of builder friends are now living in a hostel run by Polish charity Barka near Poznan in the west of the country. It is partly funded by four London boroughs and provides the free shuttle buses back to Poland. Most of the builders admit they were working cash-in-hand as part of Britain’s black economy. Social worker Dagmara Walczyk, 23, who helps returning immigrants in Poznan, said last night: “Zenon and the others didn’t register with British officials. “Even though they had, in many cases, worked in your country for some years, it meant they weren’t entitled to any benefits when they lost their jobs. “They were left to fend for themselves on the streets and many had problems with alcohol. “We have helped 3,000 destitute Poles in Britain since last year and every day we see at least 50 homeless Poles on the streets of London.” But it is not just the credit crunch pushing Poles back home. The Polish economy is surging, its currency is strong and unemployment has fallen. The jobless rate there, at 19.7 per cent in 2003, fell to 6.8 per cent this July, according to EU figures. Wages keep climbing, recently averaging nearly 3,000 zlotys (£660) per month. And the Polish currency has risen sharply against the Pound — from more than seven zlotys to the Pound in 2004 to 4.54 now. That means Poles earning Pounds in Britain and sending them home get far less in exchange than four years ago. At Victoria Coach Station, buy-to-let landlord Zenek Kalafaticz, 41, was heading back to Krakow for good to cash in on Poland’s new prosperity. Zenek said: “I have shifted my business to Poland. It is a shame, I like your country but I let flats to Poles and a lot of them are coming back to Poland. “Two years ago it was easy. I would make £1,000 a month from them but now I am only just breaking even.” Kicked Professor Krystyna Iglicka, from Poland’s Centre For International Relations, said research showed 1.3 million Poles have moved to the UK and Ireland in the past four years. She said: “More than half of those migrants have declared that they wish to return. Even if only a third of them do, that is still 400,000 Poles.” While mass migration back to Poland has not yet kicked in, far fewer are leaving home to work here. Home Office figures show the number of applications by Poles seeking work permits between August 2007 and June 2008 fell 17 per cent compared to 2006, down to 134,255 from 162,495. Waitress Agata Roszak returned to Poland last month to attend college after spending ten months packing PlayStations for £6 an hour at a factory in Basingstoke, Hants. Agata, 23, said: “In Poland, I earn the same in a month as I earned in Britain in a week. “Most of my Polish friends in Britain are still there and one day I might go back.” Social worker Dagmara added: “Many Poles have put down roots in Britain. They have bought homes there and their kids are at schools. “Thousands will stay. Others have homes in both countries and will switch between the two.” Builder Piotr Szepsel and wife Anna were among the first of the recent influx of Poles to arrive in the UK back in 2004. Piotr now loves a pint, a full English breakfast and watching Arsenal on telly. Last night mum Anna, 34, living in Barking, east London, insisted: “Go home? Britain is our home now.” And people wonder why Britain is so short of money when this lot are sending it all back to Poland. Poland's prosperous now so they're all going home. Prosperous on OUR money while we starve! Not a rant against Poles, before anyone starts. Why couldn't they send all the non-whites back and then evaluate the situation? At least most Poles respected us and our way of life and tried to fit in.

Yes, it's a shame that blacks and asians aren't the ones
returning home, instead of the poles. There's a lot of polish employed where I work. They're dedicated, hard working and are welcome to stay here. |

"..that helped build Britain in the boom years is starting to head back east."
Thats a good sign, there will be work to do in building up "the east" as they call it now that "the west" is dying from the jew-illness.. however, the niggers, pakis and kikes will remain, so its a losing proposition for the Brits..less Humans more niggers.. just make sure NO niggers is the law in eastern Europe..

The more that return to Poland the better.
Polish ZOG is already in talks with China and Pakistan to start importing shitskins. Perhaps this wave of repatriation will fill up the Polish job market and slow down the hordes of cockroaches headed Poland's way. Of course that's rather idealistic of me to think so, considering the hatred the Kike fosters for White territory.
