. .when one makes the assumption that the Catholic church is alledgedly keener on multiculturalism than Protestant denominations ( 'Catholic' , from the etymology , means 'all-encompassing' / universal ) , that is debatable . .

Today the Catholic Church is a world-power . .

Christianity , no matter its origins , did start out as a very eurocentric religion in the occidental version . .

When the belief in christianity in the west , however , declined , it started looking 'elsewhere in the world' . . In fact a while ago I made a thread here about Catholicism growing in India ( https://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=553688 ) . .

. . whether the Catholic or the Protestant branch of Christianity is more multicultural is debatable though . .
