An Elmore County man accused of killing two children and their mother nearly three years ago is now on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list.
Jorge Alberto Lopez-Orozco joins nine other men — including Osama Bin Laden — whose alleged crimes are considered especially heinous and worthy of "most wanted" status, according to FBI representatives who spoke during a news conference in Boise Thursday afternoon. He is the third Idaho fugitive to be placed on the list in its 55-year history.
Lopez-Orozco is charged with shooting and then burning his girlfriend, 29-year-old Rebecca Ramirez, and her two youngest children, 2-year-old Miguel and 4-year-old Ricardo. They were last seen leaving for a drive with Lopez-Orozco on July 30, 2002. Their bodies were found Aug. 11, 2002, in the burned shell of Lopez-Orozco's car on a desolate dirt road south of Mountain Home.
Investigators believe Lopez-Orozco
fled to Mexico
