MUNCIE – A Muncie man on Friday was formally charged with murder in a Middletown resident’s shooting death.
Marcus Darrell “Jefe” Hanyard, 23 – who was already in the Delaware County jail on unrelated charges – was arrested Monday in the Feb. 9 slaying of
20-year-old Zackary Mason Farmer.
Authorities allege Hanyard and another man entered an apartment in the 800 block of West Main Street, intending to rob its occupants of drugs and money....
