The Erie County District Attorney's Office intends to detail a motive at the homicide trial for an Erie man accused of stabbing his wife 20 times in July.
The prosecution is alleging the defendant, Billy Ray Gordon, 58, killed 51-year-old Linda Gordon
because she suspected he attempted to rob a bank and then robbed a credit union on the same day eight days before her death.
The prosecution on Wednesday won a request to present evidence about Linda Gordon's concerns about the bank robbery and attempted bank robbery, which occurred on July 14. She was killed on July 22.
