There's a book by Investigative Journalist David Yallop called, “In God’s name”, documenting how most of the illegal drug money made in the USA ends up in the Vatican bank.
There's a connection between the Vatican, the P2 Masonic Lodge, and the Mafia documented in the book. Up to the reader to decide if the evidence stacks up, I recommend reading it.
To note: the Jesuits wrote the 33 "Scottish Rite" Masonic degrees. They also wrote the Memphis/Misraim Masonic degrees.
