Now, now Ms Henderson that small incident where a million+ of your people were starved to death was all done in the Christian spirit of things - after months of protracted misery and torture, they moved up UP and AWAY to the glorious Kingdom of Heaven (no problems). Christinsanity love:
BTW my mom's last name is Irish (I too have the roots) ... my Dad's last name is English and (through Dad's side) we were Anglicans living in southern Ireland and hit the road to Canada shortly before the famine. Had the Irish all converted to the
Church of Ireland (part of Anglicanism), I wonder if they would have fared better during that period? Perhaps the English, Scottish and Welsh overlords would have stopped exporting food from Ireland when the starvation started?
One thing that is certain (at least in my book), is that Christinsanity conditions people to feel very little towards their nation, fellow countrymen and race (at least place those things a mighty second to Jesus and his 45000 denominations). A New Age nationalist faith would recognize that, while there may be some grand force/Deity in the universe that we have yet to have verifiable communication with (or even detect scientifically), our people are all as close to being god as we need concern ourselves and the nation is our temple (and so is every other country and people) ... and this teaches respect for others and focuses the nation better (IMO) than Christinsanity.
But it's a bit late to start yet another new faith in the West, ... it's a bit much thinking the
Churches of England/
Scotland/
Wales/
Ireland are going to reform themselves along the lines I'm thinking (i.e. the
British Faith), so I don't know what the answer is other than
Asatru:
And things like
Cosmos Theology:
And since there aren't AFA lodges in every city, I think the Freemasons might be a ticket because you could take your oaths on the Asatru book (and maybe a book on science), instead of the Bible (or in addition to the Bible if you don't want to alarm people
). There's an exception to this idea in the state of Florida:
Florida Grand Master Decides Pagans Can't Be Freemasons

After Florida Grand Master Ruling, Pagans and Freemasons Speak Out

That's hilarious ... you could be a Muslim, Hindu, etc., Florida Freemason, but you can NOT be an "indigenous religion of Europe" Florida Freemason lol. They want to keep things nice and deracinating.
