Default 75th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Stalingrad

One of the saddest endings to a movie I've ever seen. After Irina is killed, and Fritz and Hans are slowly freezing to death, Fritz says to Hans, "At least you won't get a sunburn. It's not like the desert--you're sweating all the time, you feel like you're melting like butter. The desert is shit. Except for the stars--it's like they are right there with you."

The translation at the end reads:
"In the battle for Stalingrad, more than 1 million humans died, froze, starved: Russians, Romanians, Italians, Hungarians, Germans, Austrians. The 260,000 soldiers of the 6th Army/91,000 were taken prisoner and after years, only 6,000 of them returned home."
