There are many more teaching-disabled teachers than there are learning-disabled children.

Often, at least in the 1990s, school psychiatrists/nurses would corner the parent(s) in the office and demand that the child be drugged. Few parents had the knowledge or courage to resist. The parents weren't necessarily dumb, they were just fools.

With a knowledge of the third dimension of our society's subversion the subtext becomes clear. The solutions offered now are also revealed to be inadequate, to put it mildly.

This symptom of meddling instead proper teaching and of creating problems for money is for me one of the most infuriating aspects of American society.
