Conversation on this issue with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The invitation to [General] Rooks followed in an unusual and impolite form (telephone conversation with an officer-translator).
The reason for this, obviously, was a fear that Keitel's arrest might otherwise be complicated.
We did the right thing by accepting the invitation.
