This is wrong, assuming one standard deviation (for Whites) is 15 IQ points. 135 - 100 = 35. Divide by 15, equals 2.33 standard deviations. This is 1%, not 5%..

With the fact that intelligence doesn't follow a smooth curve ( especially in a multi-racial sampling , who defines 'White' in this sampling ? ), it will be unevenly distributed and the parameters for a smooth curve won't apply .
Statisticians often pull a dirty little trick , they 'Norm' the results by ASSUMING that the samples will be Normally distributed and adjust the results s according to this ASSUMPTION .
