Default NY PD: Management in direct control of abuse on the streets

Basically they are going the very same route that different police departments followed in Europe against rebels in the last five years: Drastic, violent actions to reduce the numbers of the demonstrators and finish off the act. Managers are showing their gorillas that it is ok to abuse demonstrators to encourage the same.

During the 2006 demonstrations in Hungary extremely harmful chemicals were used that they called “tear gas” and they maimed dozens of people with hard rubber bullets fired from shotguns. The trick is to keep it up for weeks and months with maximum number of demonstrators. The shock effect on the general population as they are watching on their color TVs will do the trick.

“‘White Shirts’ of Police Dept. Take On Enforcer Role”
“White shirts led the face-off with protesters on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday afternoon. The episode provided no viral YouTube moments, as the senior officers avoided confrontations with the demonstrators. Yet as hundreds of arrests were made, chants of “white shirts, white shirts” could be heard.

And a white shirt is the antagonist in the demonstrations’ defining image: Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna’s dousing of some penned-in women with pepper spray on Sept. 24, which seemed to surprise at least one of the blue shirts standing near him on East 12th Street, near University Place.”
