I agree with every one of the list above, although three requires massive qualification. Eight in particular drives me wild. Cycles of behavioral failure. God forbid we do what works. God forbid we take our patterns and practices from winners rather than losers. God forbid we ignore our personal tastes and preference and seek for those in similar positions who achieved what we're trying to and learn the lessons their history holds. God forbid we act as though reasoning and rationality are real things that can help us sort things out.

Most people believe they are victims of fate. They won't say that outright, because it sounds wimpy, weak and passive, and we've all been taught to be 'strong women' these days, but their actual behavior shows it to be the case. It's parallel to most people being religious rather than rational. They've learned to speak in the language of rationality, but that's merely social conformism. Their actual behavior shows that their beliefs are in fact religious - irrational. The superior minority recognizes its own decisions, will and efforts are what determine the outcome.
