Since as discussed, the Indo European invasion of Iran and India is not a realistic theory, for many reasons both genetic and archaeological. More likely, since the genetic evidence today is proving that R1a originated in Iran, the Aryans originated in Iran and spread Aryan language as far as Europe from its original home in Iran. This occurred during the Neolithic invasion, which completely changed the genome of Europe forever when farmers who had genetics most nearest to modern day Iranians moved into Europe during the Neolithic. The evidence for this origin of Aryans is much more likely, and they originally started as a brown race, like modern day Persians. Their gene pool that travelled to Europe included such genes as J, G, R1a and R1b. But these genes were originally brown genes, and in fact the ancestor for the Semitic Genome was found only in Iran of any nation (Haplogroup IJ), and it is a south Asian gene found all the way in south India and in the Iranian Dravidian Brahui people. Haplogroup R1a is also found in such south indian groups as the Dravidian Chenchus, isolated groups that are very dark, showing the dark origins of this gene.
The Aryans came from this dark gene pool, and they intermixed with the white Europeans during the Neolithic producing the Mediterranean race. Some say this occurred all throughout Europe, where scientists have demonstrated that 3/4 of Europe can trace its ancestry to the Neolithic invaders from Iran who travelled through Turkey into the Mediterranean. But more likely it is in the range of 20 percent of the European genome. White skin is not the defining marker for Aryans, although their homeland Iran is the sight where the skin pigment lightening began, but this can also be seen in the Levant, in Arabia, and North Africa due to the Neolithic migrations. The skin lightened due to skin pigment mutations like SlC45A2 and Herc2, which selected mostly in Europe, where as in Iran and the surrounding nations in the Middle East, it occurs at much less rates but instead there is the foundational lightening gene Slc24A5.
So the location where the language referred to as Proto Indo European most likely occurred in Iran, and this language was spread into Europe where it branched off into many different forms, especially during the Iranian civilization in Europe the LBK, during the Neolithic. The LBK lasted for thousands of years and this is where this culture from Iran, known as the Aryan culture, came into Europe.
