Precisely the point.
At the 2006 mass demonstrations in Hungary they kept beating, gassing and maiming people for two months and they actually won – or so they thought. The prolonged hysteria and state sponsored violence turned the general population around and at the next election the worst pigs were thrown on the streets and a new hardcore right wing party came in with 17% and presently still rising.
