True enough as far as it goes. Dr. W. L. Pierce used to make the point that we have a religious instinct, and that it's highest development was in the top strata of European Man.
But, and I have made this point before, a belief in the absurdities of xtianity is NOT true religion. It is superstition, pure and simple. Xtianity actively discourages the spiritual questing and questioning of true religion. Legions of "heretics" burned and tortured to death leave no room for doubt about xtianity's stance on "questions about the cause, meaning, and purpose of life".
