Bosnian Imam adjudged on attempted rape

Bosnian Imam Mehmed Butkovic has been found guilty of an attempted rape of a a 20-year old servant in his mosque.
Judge gave Imam Butkovic, pictured on the left, 5 months in prison and a 2 year probation.
Imam is charged of attempted rape of a 20-year old A.H. female who was a cleaning servant inside his mosque in Zivnice, a city south of Tuzla.
According to the testimony of the victim, the Imam came onto her and attacked her sexually. She pulled away and ran into the bathroom. Imam chased after her into the bathroom in order to subdue her and rape her but the victim fought him off again, pulled away from the Imam and ran out of the mosque into freedom.
After the sentence, the Imam said that he is powerless in prohibiting anyone of spreading lies about him.
