The classic libertarian position embraces globalism and open borders. Pure libertarians would grant permission to stay to anyone who can manage to enter the country, be it by walking across the border or drifting up to shore on a raft etc. I'm not sure where Lew Rockwell and company stand on that but the Brimelows at vdare.com and their staff are the only high profile libertarians I know of who recognize national sovereignty and reject the idea of free immigration. Is Ron Paul on record as opposing free immigration?
