"The opposition's aim is to
create, together with the Ukrainian Diaspora, a powerful Ukrainian lobby all around the world", - said the leader of the Svoboda party Oleh Tyahnybok during the "X World Congress of Ukrainians" in Lviv.
According to Tyahnybok,
cooperation between the Ukrainian Diaspora and the opposition should focus on a formation of the Ukrainian national state. Such state shall take care of the citizens that live in the country as well as those ethnic Ukrainians who live abroad.
"We are in close contact with the Ukrainians that live overseas. Svoboda has representatives in many countries. They
help to communicate our vision of the processes occurring in Ukraine, our actions in the Verkhovna Rada and serve as debate-clubs from which we receive useful proposals addressed to us by the Diaspora " said Oleh Tyahnybok.
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Koshulynskyy added that the
Ukrainian Diaspora and Ukrainian workers are the biggest investors in the economy of the country. "Today,
unfortunately, these people, this invaluable experience, this intelligence is removed from the influence on development of the country. Our task is to change the situation and to create favourable conditions in order to attract this potential. We will do that when we shall be given an opportunity to adopt a series of effective laws", - said Ruslan Koshulynskyy.
