I just remember being in a hotel room at Panama City with my then husband--yes, we were married--and looking for something to watch on tv and we came across this show. It seemed very odd at first, but we did watch it faithfully every week.

I guess my favorite years were the first few years because I just think Dan Ackroyd and Bill Murray are so funny. John Belushi was good, but he was never my favorite although he was funny too, of course. The women were okay: Curtain, Newman, and Radner. Garrett Morris was just the Affirmative Action nigger with no value at all.

I haven't watched any TV at all since 2003 and there were several years at a time when I didn't watch it due to unfunny actors. Tina Fey does nothing for me, and I never watched her anyway.

Basically, for me, it's a show from long ago for which I have fond memories.
