There have been reports of police beating war veterans during a peaceful protest in Boston. The demonstration was part of the Occupy Wall Street movement, which is aimed at big business and banks. The protests started in Wall Street - but the movement of people who say their lives have been ruined by bankers, big business and government is spreading across the U.S. and beyond. Over a thousand protesters hit the streets of Los Angeles, joining the Occupy Wall Street activists who started the movement around a month ago in New York.

Occupy Wall Street will fail in the end. Having started out almost as an inside joke, at least as a group of people who could identify the problem when none of the rest of the "99 percent" could seem to, it's now taking all comers and aligning itself with leftist causes in parts of the world that most Americans don't care about. The movement is losing it's exclusivity, it's quirk and with it, considering the audience, Occupy Wall Street will lose it's base and the interest of the 99 percent of Americans it's counting on by spreading itself too thin and across too many issues.

Then there are those involved who are the followers, without any idea why they are protesting. An example of how quickly Occupy Wall Street has devolved and will and can insult the 99 percent of Americans is a foto I saw on facebook depicting one of them defecating on a burning American flag, yes, that's something that will keep the unions supporting them. Another thing to remember is the fact that Obama has approved of this movement, it's "class war" theme dovetailing nicely with his struggle to remain president. Occupy Wall Street should have remained focused on the legitimately worried bankers. As a whole, due to the multicultural aspect of their belief and focus, Occupy Wall Street will never name the jew.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) says that our Government has handed out $16 trillion to the banks.

Let me repeat that, in case you didn’t hear me the first time. The GAO says that our Government HAS HANDED OUT $16 TRILLION TO THE BANKS.

That little gem appears on Page 131 of GAO Report No. GAO-11-696. A report issued two months ago. A report that somehow seems to have eluded the attention of virtually every network, every major newspaper, and every news show.
How much is $16 trillion? That is an amount equal to more than $50,000 for every man, woman and child in America. That’s more than every penny that every American earns in a year. That’s an amount equal to almost a third of our national net worth -- the value of every home, car, personal belonging, business, bank account, stock, bond, piece of land, book, tree, chandelier, and everything else anyone owns in America. That’s an amount greater than our entire national debt, accumulated over the course of two centuries.
A $16 trillion stack of dollar bills would reach all the way to the Moon. And back. Twice.

That’s enough to pay for Saturday mail delivery. For the next 5,000 years.
All of that money went from you and me to the banks. And we got nothing. Not even a toaster.

I have been patiently waiting to see whether this disclosure would provoke some kind of reaction. Answer: nope. Everyone seems much more interested in discussing whether or not they like the cut of Perry’s jib.
