Decisive Battles - The Battle Of Marathon
In 490 B.C., the Persian Empire invaded Greece landing their fleet of 600 ships at the bay of Marathon. Although outnumbered by as much as 10 to 1 by some estimates, the Greeks would not go down without a fight.
