He's filled the team with Mulattos from Germany who have no association with USA whatsover, except for the small matter that whoever fathered, abandoned them was an "American".
We have a thread dedicated to him at Castefootball.

I didn't know any of that; all I did know was that he was a great footballer who'd led Germany to third place in the World Cup, restoring a sense of pride and inculcating a more aggressive, attacking stye.

Thirteen pages, and not a good word has been said about him(the very last post is mine).

And of course, there are good words said about Sunil Gulati, the marxist Indian(dot) who runs the USA soccer federation.
I have a lot more to say,but I'll restrain myself, for fear of derailing this thread.

He's done an excellent job so far, that's why he was given a new contract. He's not a racialist, true. But his ability to change institutional culture is worth studying. He has the US men's team on the right track - to being competitive with the top teams in the world.

made a lot of responses on this thread: great hostility to my opinion that blacks are in fact on average a little bit faster than whites, and it is due to genetics

There is no greater unifier in American culture than professional football, which is followed by 68 percent of men and 42 percent of women — Republicans and Democrats in equal numbers. Game telecasts accounted for nine of the 10 most-watched programs in 2013, and the previous three Super Bowls were the most-viewed television programs of all time in the United States.

I was sarcastic when I mentioned "good words about Gulati".
He's done a very poor job if you ask me.
Sure,it may look like USA is making progress, but that is because the Qualification rounds are a farce, and 'continental seeding' ensures USA get a decent crack at the knockout stages of the competition,as put here, rather articulately:

Quote:
Look at the CONCACAF zone. After various titans like Montserrat, Bermuda, Guyana, and Guatemala did battle in the first and second stages, "heavyweights" Mexico were parachuted into the third round. The beaners progressed to the fourth round (groan...) by winning all six of their matches against Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guyana. At this point, everything was running to script. Of course, it goes without saying that each of those weak-as-piss opponents would be nothing more than slapstick whipping boys if they played in Europe...

The final, "elite" (s******...) CONCACAF fourth round comprised six nations. Here's the punch line: only two of those six would actually be eliminated at its conclusion! Now, that's arse-puckering, bollock-shrinking pressure for you.

Mexico heroically finished this ultra-challenging stage in fourth place behind the United States, Costa Rica and Honduras, recording a poxy two wins, five draws, and three losses from their ten matches. Their goal difference was a disgraceful -2 (all of this in a group featuring the "hermetically sealed" defences of Panama, Jamaica, Honduras, Costa Rica, and the United States).

So what was the penalty for winning a mere two matches out of ten and "amassing" a paltry 11 points from a possible 30, combined with that stunning goal difference of -2? Why, what else but entry into a two-legged "intercontinental" playoff against puny New Zealand, "winners" of the weakest zone of them all - that insignificant backwater called Oceania.
Link.

(I do know that not everyone here follows soccer).

No, his success has little to do with how far the US gets in any particular tournament, it's about:

- changing the culture - raising expectations
- developing a USA-specific strategy/way of playing
- ginning up a bigger pipeline of good players from the youth level to MLS/USMNT
- getting USA talent into the highest reaches of European football (the teams that regularly play in the Champions League) so they grow experienced in the highest-level strategies and playing against the very best players and clubs

He has already achieved the cultural change, it appears, and that is most important. The rest of the changes will take longer. The USMNT gave him an extension before the world cup because it doesn't matter how the US does there, the men's team is going the right way, and they want to keep Klinsmann around to ensure that continues.

[pertains to what's discussed in Foles/Cousins article upthread.]

Open thread: How confident are you in an RG3 bounce back?
February 12, 2014, 6:00 am

Your Wednesday morning open thread:

Yesterday, we wrote about the Redskins' outlook at the quarterback position. In it, we noted that Robert Griffin III is already getting to work to try to improve his 2013 performance and regain the form that make him rookie of the year in 2012.

Judging the comments on this site and on Real Redskins and on Twitter, talk radio, and other sounding boards for fan sentiment it seems that many Redskins fans believe that a comeback season for Griffin is a given. If he puts the work in, he'll get back to playing the way he did in 2012. The issues last year were one-time things with the knee injury, no offseason preparation, and clashes with the coaches unlikely to recur.

However, there is another faction--I'd say it's the minority, but a strong minority--who are saying, not so fast. Griffin still needs to learn how to operate out of the pocket better, read defenses, and get rid of the ball more quickly. In addition, the injury to his right knee may have cost him a step or two that he'll never regain. This group believes that it will take a two, three years, maybe longer for Griffin to be a top QB again, if he ever will be one.

Where do you stand? Do you believe that an improved RG3 is one thing that the Redskins can count on in 2014? Or is it possible that he will look a lot like the inconsistent QB we saw last year?

The guy was playing behind a Bad O-LINE. When the O-LINE ACTUALLY BLOCKED FOR ONCE in the first half of the Giants game RG3 was perfect 16 for 16 2 touchdowns. The Problem was NEVER RG3. The Problem was THE HORRIBLE O-LINE. Why people blame the play calling is beyond me. Did you ever think they called the plays they did because of the bad O-line? Because every time they called a regular play without extra blocking or that wasn't a screen the O-Line didn't hold up. The O-Line got the Shannahans fired and all but Williams should be released to send a message.

Come on Tim...you put up some pretty solid posts, but RGIII's lack of success was all oline? He was average man and a lot of it was him....missing open receivers, not feeling the pressure, calling wrong protections, not reading defenses. The oline is not great by any means, but the responsibility is on him as well

sports media train idiot fans to find excuses for NFL nigs, same way they do for nig criminals in real life. the nig qb never fails, it's always the Oline or the defense. by the same token, if the white qb succeeds, it's parceled off to the oline or the defense or rb or receivers. i overdraw, but the thing i describe is there. when the butcher puts his thumb on the scale, it doesnt double the weight, it adds enough to get the job done

Not "Griffin" - "RGIII".....

Any "White" man who uses that is a fag.

Which is it, mass media-operating jews?

Are niggers sexy-cool-tough? Or supersensitive little (giant) bully victims?

http://deadspin.com/the-worst-stuff-...ati-1522846626

Racial taunts of Martin:

Martin related that one day when he showed up to practice one day without showering, Incognito began calling him a "smelly," "dirty" or "stinky" "Pakistani." Martin said that Incognito's teasing about body odor continued, even when he was wearing heavy deodorant, and that it bothered him significantly, particularly because it had a racial element.
Jokes about shooting black people:

Incognito and a former Dolphins offensive lineman, who is white, communicated about purchasing guns, apparently for recreational purposes. (We identify this former Dolphin as Player B.) The discussion veered into jokes about shooting black people:

Player B: Especially if u plan living in Arizona in the future, that's exactly what you want

Incognito: Yea. For picking off zombies

Player B: Lol isn't that why we own any weapons!?

Incognito: That and black people

Player B: Mmm def all black ppl

Four days later, Incognito and Player B discussed rifle scopes in text messages.

Player B: Yes. That's a solid optic made specifically for a .308 battle rifle

Incognito: Perfect for shooting black people

Player B: Lol exactly

Player B: Or Jeff Ireland

Sexually explicit comments about Martin's sister:

The evidence supports a finding that Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey repeatedly and persistently made graphic, sexually explicit comments about Martin's sister, a medical student whom they had never met. Four fairly typical examples of the types of insults made orally, according to Martin, are:

"We are going to run train on your sister. She loves me. I'm going to fuck her without a condom and cum in her cunt."

"Hey, Jmart's sister is in town. Get the plastic sheets ready, she's a squirter."

"I'm going to bang the shit out of her and spit on her and treat her like shit."

"Hear your sister has a wolf-puss. A fat, hairy pussy."

Although Martin's core complaints primarily relate to oral statements, crude references to his sister also appeared in a handful of text messages, including one that Incognito sent to Martin and other offensive linemen:

"I flew jmarts sister into Indy. My dick is dry and needs some of her healing squirt juices"
Racial taunting of an Asian-American trainer:

Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey admitted that they directed racially derogatory words toward him, including "Jap" and "Chinaman." At times, according to Martin, they referred to the Assistant Trainer as a "dirty communist" or a "North Korean," made demands such as "give me some water you fucking chink," spoke to him in a phony, mocking Asian accent, including asking for "rubby rubby sucky sucky," and called his mother a "rub and tug masseuse." Martin and others informed us that Incognito and Jerry taunted the Assistant Trainer with jokes about having sex with his girlfriend. Incognito admitted that these types of comments were made to the Assistant Trainer.

On December 7, 2012 (the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor), Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey donned traditional Japanese headbands that featured a rising sun emblem and jokingly threatened to harm the Assistant Trainer physically in retaliation for the Pearl Harbor attack. Martin reported that the Assistant Trainer confided to him that he was upset about the Pearl Harbor prank, finding it derogatory and demeaning.

Homophobic taunting of "Player A":

RELATED

Dolphins O-Line Coach Was Aware Of, Participated In Harassment
A portion of Ted Wells's investigation into the Miami Dolphins locker room focuses on offensive line coach Jim Turner. According to the report,… Read…
The report finds that unnamed player was subject to repeated taunts about his perceived sexuality, some of the unconfirmed incidents even verging on sexual harassment. O-Line coach Jim Turner reportedly was aware of and took part in the taunting.

Martin and other witnesses informed us that Player A was repeatedly called a "faggot" and subjected to other homophobic invective. Incognito stated that Player A, although not actually believed to be gay, was subject to these taunts repeatedly and persistently—he got it "every day from everybody, high frequency." According to Incognito, Player A was a "good kid" and he "took it well," never asking his teammates to stop.

Incognito and others acknowledged that Player A was routinely touched by Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey in a mockingly suggestive manner, including on his rear end, while being taunted about his supposed homosexuality. Incognito specifically admitted that he would grab Player A and ask for a hug as part of this "joke."

Martin said that on one occasion, Pouncey physically restrained Player A and, in full view of other players, jokingly told Jerry to "come get some pussy," and that Jerry responded by touching Player A's buttocks in a way that simulated anal penetration. Pouncey and Jerry both denied this allegation. Given the seriousness of this allegation and the conflicting recollections, we decline to make any findings about this particular alleged incident.

The evidence shows that [Offensive Line Coach Jim Turner] overheard and participated in this behavior toward Player A. During the 2012 Christmas season, Coach Turner gave all of the offensive linemen gift bags that included a variety of stocking stuffers. In each gift bag except for Player A's, Turner included a female "blow-up" doll; Player A's bag included a male doll.
Racial taunts of Martin:

Incognito left the following voicemail message for Martin:

"Hey, wassup, you half-nigger piece of shit. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. I'll shit in your fuckin' mouth. I'm gonna slap your fuckin' mouth, I'm gonna slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. Fuck you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

Martin was appalled by this message. He said that Incognito had never before called him a "nigger." And although Martin did not regard statements such as "I'll kill you" as literal threats, the voicemail further distressed him because he feared that it signaled that the abuse he had endured during his rookie season would continue during his second season. According to Martin, a few weeks later, prior to a dinner at a Fort Lauderdale restaurant, Incognito addressed him in a text message as "shine box," which Martin felt was a derogatory term, and he responded with a message complaining about Incognito's "racist shit." At the dinner, Martin claimed, Incognito made additional offensive racial comments to him (although he said he laughed them off at the time). The comments, Martin said, included jokes about slavery, and he claimed that Incognito called him a "nigger" to his face at the restaurant. Incognito also insulted Martin in person and in text messages with other racially charged language, including referring to Martin as a "liberal mulatto bitch," "stinky Pakistani," "shine box" and "darkness."

Martin: I'm gonna get more bitches in 2 nights than all of you combined

Incognito: Stop it. By bitches u mean cocks in ur mouth

Schmucky is trying to crucify Incognito because he can't stand a White man who still has the balls to verbally needle niggers as niggers habitually do Whites, especially in sports circles.

Star Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson cut after alleged ties to Crips street gang revealed

- The Pro Bowl wideout has been accused of either belonging to or socializes with members of the violent gang
- He has been photographed with or linked to members implicated in multiple murders since 2010
- Jackson has flashed a hand signal on national television during a game similar to the gang sign used by the Crips
- The star player was due more than $10million in salary for the upcoming season

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-revealed.html

[jackson is one of the team's top players. the significance here is the Eagles are scared shitless they'll get the situation the Patriots have with Fernandez (in jail charged with murder(s). The WN significance is underling the old message: giving a nigger a lot of money doesn't turn him into a human being, he's still a nigger, prone to doing what niggers do.]

Kobe Bryant. He may be an ass-rapist, but he's smarter than even the average white. Doesn't necessarily have opinion on Angel Tray-Tray, so gets blasted for no nigger solidarity.

There were some people actually saying that it's a travesty that they cut Jackson instead of Riley Cooper. A "racial slur" is far worse than being in a gang, yes indeed

After reading up on this, Eagles were going to release Jackson anyway. He is apparently hated by the team for being a selfish nigger, yet a very productive player. All about him.

As for the gang, I'm not big on guilt by association. His friends may be in gang, but he hasn't done anything illegal in that direction that I know of.

Anyway, the situation was somewhat different than I surmised upthread, but certainly the gang friendships if not membership were a factor in the release or its timing. What I had not realized was that the team was almost certainly going to release him anyway for a number of reasons.
