FIBA World Basketball Cup
I like international basketball. What I like about FIBA compared to FIFA is that the former does not allow 'naturalized' immigrants to play for national teams, which is refreshing and levels the playing field quite a bit. Unlike in soccer, the national basketball teams actually racially represent the countries they play for. Except for USA's all nigger team.
While Team USA is traditionally the #1 team, they've been beaten many times before by white teams. Argentina defeated the all-NBA Dream Apes in 2004, Greece beat them in 2006. These defeats helped bring more white players from the Balkans, Spain, and Argentina to the NBA. The FIBA world cup being hosted in Spain is slated to start on August 30th.
