The Father
This film, starring Anthony Hopkins, deals with a man suffering from dementia, and for his performance in this, he just won the Oscar for best actor...a white guy pushing back at all the diversity.
It's a very powerful film. I did a review on Countercurrents, April 17. |

I didn't see it, but Tony Hopkins is a great actor.
A White woman won best actress, too. I did not see the movie but loved her in this movie.

Well, Gladiatrix, go see it. Past performances are good, but it's a thoughtful, sad movie but very strong.
Or at least read my review. |
