Maybe it is so. I have not been to other countries and I have nothing to compare. Instead of taking... ...I took it... ...in a store in the 15th microdistrict of Zelenograd In my opinion, beer is good but a bit bitter. I love something more sweet

The common picture of Northern Germans , like I said , is that more liquor is poured here than anything else . . Jägermeister , from Wolfenbüttel . . The word 'Jägermeister' can be translated with 'huntsman' . . Küstennebel , from Eckernförde . . Translates as 'sea fog' . . Two examples . . Quote:

However, this word means not a hunter, but a state employee who watches hunters hunt in accordance with the rules, fights against poachers, monitors the number of animals on his site, etc. Quote:
You can not all get used to the fact that in Russia for a quarter of a century there is capitalism. And in this situation, as you know, you can get a crocodile's ass in powdered sugar if you are willing to pay money for it. In Russia, there are no problems with foreign alcohol. You do not have to go to the elite stores to buy: Cognac, whiskey, gin, rum, ale, tequila, brandy and etc. In the shops there are wines from: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, USA, Chile, South Africa, Serbia, Bulgaria, etc. For example, I gave my colleague on his birthday a 5 liter barrel of German beer "Franziskaner" more than 10 years ago. This word was unfamiliar to me. But the online dictionary tells me what it means "a person who never drinks alcohol." I just do not understand how this thing relates to our conversation.

I know that you can get alcoholic drinks from practically all around the world in almost every country in the world . . ( sorry , couldn't resist making another reference to Dusk 'till dawn , lol ,made a thread about it here : https://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=549163 ) It just astonishes me that you can even get 'Flens' in Russia . . It wouldn't have suprised me if you could get , for example , Bitburger in Russia ( Bitburger is one of the most popular beers in Germany ) . . But , compared to Bitburger , 'Flens' is less prominent ( even though as a Northern German you know it . . ) No offense . . Quote:

Putting aluminum foil on windows is a cheap yet effective way to keep your house cool in summer. Especially if u live in a hot area. |

I prefer the genre of comedy. And the best comedy is Il Bisbetico Domato (1980) - Italy

A bit unusual but putting foil not only on windows but also on the walls works. you can hide the foil covered area with a board over it. purchased at the hardware store nearby. (I am a DIY buff. I actually did it when I lived in a hotter area… it worked as well) I know temperatures in the US are extremely high during summer. 100 degrees fahrenheit is about human temperature… and much higher than that. that sucks, man. Here in Ontario, the average temperature stays about 78 this week. Be careful of heat-related illnesses, brother. |

Since this thread in a way has managed to become an exchange of opinions on alcoholic beverage I'll say that we have the right people here . . .
Zack is of Irish ancestry , Ray says he is mostly British ( English / Scottish) ,I myself am Northern German , Alex is Russian . . Pretty much all regions which are known for being very keen on "having one" ( not in a 'dunk-ass' way but in a way of festivals , enjoyment of life etc . . .) Which probably rarely is the case . . . Тролль Гнет Ель - "Братья во хмелю"
BROTHERS IN DRINKS It does not happen that ale was too much. A barrel of ale this is the most suitable capacity. We have a barrel full to the brim. And the barrel is full of beer, and not kvass. I drank ten mugs Without moving my ass from my seat. I'm shouting again With a white beard of foam: "It does not happen that ale was too much. A barrel of ale this is the most suitable capacity. We have a barrel full to the brim. And the barrel is full of beer, and not kvass." I drank twenty mugs Without moving my ass from my seat. I'm shouting again With a white beard of foam: "Glory to ale!" Brothers in drinks! Let's glorify this foamy drink! For the feasts and drunken hymns invite all your friends to us! Invite all friends as soon as possible! Brothers in drinks! Raise your mugs above! And sing hilarious drunken Psalms and hymns! And invite all friends! We moistened our lips in drunken golden water. And we picked up our cassocks and started dancing on the tables. It does not happen that ale was too much. A barrel of ale this is the most suitable capacity. We have a barrel full to the brim. And the barrel is full of beer, and not kvass. Although the volume of a barrel is larger than the volume of a stomach, But the beer belly is also an impressive thing. The contents of a barrel fit freely in a beer belly, Becoming like a drop in the sea. Glory to ale! Brothers in drinks! Let's glorify this foamy drink! For the feasts and drunken hymns invite all your friends to us! Invite all friends as soon as possible! Brothers in drinks! Raise your mugs above! And sing hilarious drunken Psalms and hymns! And invite all friends! As soon as possible! As soon as possible! note: Квас / Kvass is a non-alcoholic drink.

Let's say , the right people at the right place . . . I think in a group of four we could "put away much" . . . . Just deal with the hangover the next day . . . lol , for the record , I once read that the two brats featured in the vid ( the blonde and the brunette one ) must be quite 'tough' when it comes to drinking , probably a competition for males . . . |

In honour of this thread , when I'm out to my fav . pub today , I'll drink one in honour of the posters here . . . .
( sry for posting vid of jew Billy Joel here , yet that song was pretty much the only one by him which had some appeal . . . .) I'll have one Tullamore Dew in honour of Zack ( Irish Whiskey ) , one Glenfiddich for Ray ( Scotch ) , Vodka Moskovskaya for Alex and one Jägermeister for myself . . . . I suppose in a harbour town you can get all these . . Hope I'll still make it home though . . . |

I live in Scotland. The last time we had a summer as good as this was in the 1970's. So, in answer to your question.."No", I am not fed up. A few more please

Japan is also cooking in a giant hibachi right now. This seems to be a worldwide heat wave.
