Default Holocaust denier David Irving is allowed back to Germany - thanks to EU free movement rules

Quote:
Holocaust denier David Irving has won a surprise victory in a German court - thanks to the EU - that allows him entry into the country next year after overturning a ban that ran for another decade.

Irving, 74, has written a series of books about the Third Reich denying the historical evidence for the Holocaust of more than six million Jews during WW2.

A Munich court convicted and fined him in 1993 on a charge of insulting the memory of the dead after he disputed that the gas chambers at Auschwitz killed hundreds of thousands of Jews.

He told a group of right-wingers in 1993 that the Polish government built the chambers after the war to 'show tourists.'

The Munich court imposed the entry ban at the same time as he was fined.

Irving applied last year for re-entry, but German authorities replied that he remained banned until 2022.

The administrative tribunal rejected this on Friday, ruling that this ban could not be upheld under European Union rules of free movement.

This states; 'The free movement of persons is a fundamental right guaranteed to European Union EU citizens by the Treaties.

'The measures are designed, among other things, to encourage Union citizens to exercise their right to move and reside freely within member states, to cut back administrative formalities to the bare essentials, to provide a better definition of the status of family members, to limit the scope for refusing entry or terminating the right of residence and to introduce a new right of permanent residence.'

The Munich court's decision means that a citizen convicted of a crime in a country signed up to the EU cannot automatically bar someone convicted of committing a crime from returning to their land.

But legal experts said this was an 'interpretation' and was not an automatic ruling for all countries.

The female judge in the case said that Irving will have to choose 'milder language' in future if he chooses to return to Germany - a warning he will face further prosecution and possible deportation if he re-offends again.

Irving remains unwanted in Australia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.

He is also forbidden to enter Austria where in 2006 he was sentenced to three years in prison for 're-engagement in Nationalist Socialist activities.'

He was later deported to Great Britain.

The Austrian entry ban expires in 2014. He received that - along with a three year jail term - in 2006 for a 1989 speech on Austrian soil denying the Holocaust.

He used his one-day trial to say he had since changed his mind about the Nazi extermination programme and that he now accepted there was a plot to kill the Jews of Europe.

'I made a mistake when I said there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz,' he told the court in the Austrian capital. 'I admit that in 1989 I had denied that Nazi Germany had killed millions of Jews.

'This is what I then believed, until I later saw the personal files of Adolf Eichmann, the chief organiser of the Holocaust.

'I said that then based on my knowledge at the time, but by 1991 when I came across the Eichmann papers, I wasn't saying that anymore and I wouldn't say that now.

'The Nazis did murder millions of Jews.'

It is unclear whether Austria will follow suit and lift the ban on him.

One lawyer told an Austrian newspaper: 'The German court's interpretation of EU rules may be totally different from that which an Austrian court might decide.

'I do not think there would be moves to admit him any time soon.'

I wouldn't trust that as far as I could throw the building it was decided in if I were he.

Irving is revered like a God in Germany higher than Hitler in certain circles It is the above quote they want him for.I am glad to see he has come around to my own way of thinking on this issue

Anyone want to incur the wrath of the incurable believers in David Irving (one of the best friends the Jews ever had IMO) and add him to the list of possible pedos?

He has been publicly accused of pederasty, and this in print, long before the Lipstadt/Penguin Books trial: however, the normally litigious Irving failed to defend his reputation in a court of law on those occasions....Little brown boys were mentioned as being a particular favourite, I seem to recall.

Irving being economical with the truth again. Irving is a hard blighter to pin down on anything. I'm not sure if he thinks he can ingratiate himself with the juden with his upcoming Himmler bio. Once you've crossed that line there is no going back.

Irving was invited to the Iranian convention debating the validity of the holocaust, along with other revisionists. He then suddenly decided to speak in Austria where an arrest warrant was out for him. As a result Irving was imprisoned and missed the Iranian convention. A coincidence? No! The Zionists have got something on him. And/or he has been working for them all along. My guess though is that he is being blackmailed.

WTF? David Irving is a fucking pussy sellout for not sticking to his guns. I'd never give the Jews the gratification of submitting to the biggest lie ever told.

He has stuck to his guns in that he has a rationale based on the availability of primary sources. From there the following statement is understood by intelligent people:

'I made a mistake when I said there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz,' he told the court in the Austrian capital. 'I admit that in 1989 I had denied that Nazi Germany had killed millions of Jews.

There were gas chambers all over Germany the UK and possibly every country of the world they were/are called fumigation chambers and they had them in all of the big concentration camps to delouse clothing. The St Pancras county council was using a mobile removal van to fumigate the furniture of poor people in London's inner city in 1935.Like jews a lot of the "movement" are unable to differentiate between killing lots of jews and gassing lots of jews.It is my contention that these arabists are in actual fact brainwashed by the jews and when they read "Killing jews" their mind tells them it is gassing jews.

I saw footage of Irving at recent IHR conference and in the short Q/A following his talk he said he regretted ever getting involved with ''Zundel''.

In the 39 years prior to the Lipstadt debacle Irving published 29 books but in the 10 years since Lipstadt he's published none.

When costs were awarded against Irving he discovered he owed the Jews £2 million which he said he didn't have. Those costs are subject to interest at a rate set higher than the rate of borrowing from a high street bank, and so Irving must now owe the Jews more than 3 million pounds.

Whatever ''Himmler'' says it will say exactly what the Jews want it to say because they own Irving and all that he publishes until his debt to them is repaid.

David Irving has already put the number Jews murdered at over 3.5 million and I predict he will revise this figure upwards and indict Himmler as the psychotic driving force behind their murder.

He who pays the piper calls the tune but he who owns the piper gets to write the tune.

Here it is @ 59 minutes:

"...I don't consider the Lipstadt trial as a mistake at all: I do consider it a mistake to have given evidence on behalf of Ernst Zundel in 1988 - In retrospect I wouldn't have done that and I shouldn't have done that, and that just enraged these animals even more".

That may suit him he is primarily an author with a body of work that needs selling. The Austrian caper was an obvious one either that or we have to presume that Irving is the most naive blighter on the planet. It could be that having the ban lifted makes it easier for him to get royalties from Germany.Hard to know.Personally I don't care one way or the other, after his court case to which I donated I vowed I would never again make a cash donation to any "movement" blighter I did not know personally.
