One person was shot and another arrested after police declared a riot Saturday afternoon in Olympia during dueling protests that turned violent, according to media reports.Pro-Trump demonstrators and black-clad counter-protesters gathered in the city, the Seattle Times reported, and roving confrontations broke out throughout the day.

About 2 p.m., counter-protesters were pushing a pro-Trump crowd toward a parking lot near the Washington Capital Campus, the newspaper reported, when at least one shot was fired.

Videos of the aftermath show a man holding a handgun retreating with the pro-Trump crowd. Police later said one person was arrested in connection with the incident, according to the Seattle Times, but officials did not released any other information, including the extent of the wounded person’s injuries or their condition.

Similar protests have become a near-weekly occurrence in Olympia since Joe Biden won the presidential election on Nov. 3, according to the Olympian, and last weekend a Trump supporter was arrested after allegedly firing a gun into a crowd.

A group of violent protesters on Monday gathered outside a Washington jail to demand that Antifa rioters, who were arrested at a weekend rally in the capital, to be released from jail.

A video shared online showed police spraying what appears to be pepper spray at protesters gathered outside the entrance to a jail.
"All Out DC," a group that describes itself as a "collective of DC antifascist activists" announced on Twitter a show of support for the jailed protesters scheduled for Tuesday at noon.

The scuffle comes after chaos erupted in Washington on Saturday night, hours after two pro-Trump rallies ended. Groups of Proud Boys and Antifa activists clashed under cover of darkness, with police repeatedly forcing them apart amid reports of brawls and stabbings.

At least four stabbings occurred near a bar that served as a gathering spot for the Proud Boys. The victims were hospitalized, possibly with life-threatening injuries, a D.C. Fire Department spokesman told the Washington Post.

It wasn't immediately clear which groups the attackers and victims were affiliated with. 23 others were arrested.

Last week, Portland law *enforcers raided a house that had for months been *illegally occupied by trespassers affiliated with Black Lives Matter and Antifa. At the barricaded property, officers made arrests and found a stockpile of firearms.

Under normal circumstances, the armed trespassers would be prosecuted, and that would be the end of the story. But in riot-plagued Portland, Oregon, things are very far from normal.

The city’s “progressive” district attorney immediately dropped the charges against the occupiers, and their comrades soon sent in reinforcements to build a sprawling autonomous zone in the middle of a densely populated residential area.

The militants called the place the Red House Autonomous Zone — named after the red-painted house occupied at the heart of the zone. In doing so, they took inspiration from the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, Washington. During the summer, leftist extremists chased police out of a six-block area of the Emerald City and drew their own “borders,” complete with checkpoints manned by armed “security.” The three-week *experiment in lawlessness ended in mass vandalism, *attempted rape, multiple shootings and two homicides.


Portland’s Red House, where police, Antifa and Black Lives Matter protesters clashed

Portland’s RHAZ is following in the same footsteps.

The house at the center of the autonomous zone was occupied by members of the Kinney family and their allies. The Kinneys, who haven’t paid their mortgage since 2017, were evicted after a tortuous legal process. The fact that they own a second house nearby didn’t prevent the mixed-race Kinneys and their allies from claiming victimization by — you guessed it — “racism.”

Soon after last week’s raid on the occupied house, some 100 Antifa comrades mobilized through social media to retake the space. “There is an active call for numbers, defensive gear and supplies and change of clothes,” tweeted Antifa group Youth Liberation Front.

Within a few hours, the entire street was blocked off with stolen fencing, wood and junk taken from nearby homes. Some brought in power tools to reinforce the barriers. The militants laid out piles of rocks, metal spikes and glass bottles at strategic points to act as supply points for projectile weapons. They lined the road with impromptu “booby traps” — upward-facing nail strips, caltrops and more.

Portland police officers tried to shut down the RHAZ early on, but they were attacked and chased away. Their police cruisers were smashed up; they didn’t return.

“Those present at the barricades should leave it behind, put down your weapons and allow the neighborhood to return to peace and order,” Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell asked the militants, who ignored his polite request.

To protect their autonomous zone, the militants had their own team of roving “security,” like at the CHAZ. They openly carried rifles and pistols. Neighborhood families felt terrorized; some have left, widened its territorial expanse by the day. The militants added additional barricades farther out from the red house to act as a buffer. Graffiti marked their new land: “Hang your landlord.” “Landlords get the wall.” “Kill a cop.”

The slogan “Free Gage” also plastered the zone. Antifa militant Gage Halupowski was convicted and imprisoned last year over the unprovoked beating of a Portland man during an Antifa riot downtown. Halupowski struck Adam Kelly on the head with a baton, busting open his head.

And while many media outlets served as apologists for Antifa during the long months of rioting, reporters didn’t find refuge in the RHAZ. A local news crew was surrounded and assaulted for walking in. The female *reporter at the scene was treated at a hospital for a bloody hand injury. “Kill press,” Antifa wrote in several locations to warn other outlets after that. They also wrote my name and an address on a large wall.

After six days of violent anarchy, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler announced at a news conference that an “agreement” had been reached, though he didn’t spill the details. By Tuesday, some of the barricades had come down, allowing vehicular traffic through for the first time in a week.

The Kinneys, however, denied that an agreement had been reached. They said they will continue to occupy the property, even though a viral GoFundMe campaign for the family has already raised more than $308,000 — far more than what it would cost to buy the red house (and remember, they own a house nearby, as well).

The City of Portland, meanwhile, has set a perilous new precedent: It will not only negotiate with extremists, it will accommodate their bizarre demands.

A Black family put up a BLM sign. Then they found their cars on fire and Trump graffiti painted on their garage, they say.



When Jayla Gipson and Charles Crawford awoke to one of their cars engulfed in flames outside their home in a Dallas suburb last week, the couple initially assumed it was an accident, they told WFAA.

But when the smoke cleared, they noticed the spray-painted message on their garage: “TRUMP 20.”

Now, the Little Elm Police Department and federal authorities are investigating what the family says was a targeted “political” attack sparked by a Black Lives Matter yard sign that was also damaged that night. The Black couple says they found the words “Silence = Violence” on their sign crossed out with the same bright red paint used on their garage door.

“That sign was in my yard for less than two weeks and then all of a sudden we get a tragedy like this,” Gipson told WFAA. “I would have preferred they just take the sign. But to set the house on fire? That’s going way too far.”

Since nationwide protests over racial injustice and police brutality have coursed through the country this year, BLM signs have regularly been focal points for acts of vandalism. In July, a couple in Martinez, Calif., painted over a BLM street sign, calling claims of police brutality “a lie.” It happened again last weekend when pro-Trump supporters who took the streets of Washington to echo the president’s baseless election fraud claims destroyed a Black Lives Matter banner and sign belonging to two historic Black churches.

Gipson and Crawford, who moved to Little Elm, Tex., in 2017, said they’d never experienced any issues in the northern Dallas suburb, Gipson told the local station. The BLM sign the family had staked on their front yard around Thanksgiving had caused them no issues either, she added.

Until the early morning of Dec. 9, when around midnight, Gipson’s son, who had gotten up to use the bathroom, noticed one of the couple’s sedans had caught fire. Gipson’s son awoke the rest of the family, who all left the house unharmed, the Little Elm Journal reported.

“If he hadn’t done that, my house might be burned down,” Gipson told WFAA. “My daughter’s bedroom is towards the front of the house, so this could have been really bad.”

Later that morning, after the fire department put out the blaze — which ended up engulfing the family’s other car as well — they noticed the “Trump 20” message and vandalized BLM yard sign. The windshields of their two sedans were also partially shattered with bricks taken from their yard, Gipson told the Journal.

Neither Gipson, Crawford nor the Little Elm Police Department immediately responded to The Washington Post’s request for comment early Friday.

Little Elm Police Department Chief Rodney Harrison told the Journal that it’s too soon to catalogue the incident as a hate crime, noting that the FBI and police are “looking at all possible angles.”

“Investigators have extensively canvassed the scene, including interviewing neighbors and reviewing video footage from nearby cameras. The investigation is currently ongoing,” the police department said in a news release.

Both the family’s cars were declared a total loss, Gipson told the local station, and the damage to the cars and her home totaled about $70,000.

Although the alleged attack has rattled Gipson’s neighborhood, the couple says the community has also rallied to their aid. One neighbor bought them a security camera system, and another one gifted them paint so they can cover the graffiti, Gipson told WFAA.

As Gipson awaits for the investigation to conclude, she said she hopes that whoever did this will face justice.

“We definitely feel targeted,” Gipson told the Journal. “It’s political, and it’s uncalled for. I don’t feel like we should have to go through that. This is because of how my family’s identity and that we shared a Black Lives Matter sign.”

A far-left journalist from Arkansas is among four suspects who have been formally charged in connection with the firebombings of police cars during Black Lives Matter protests last summer.

Renea Baek Goddard, 22, was part of a group of people that are alleged to have thrown Molotov cocktails at Little Rock Police Department cars on August 25.

After an investigation by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives lasting several months, authorities alleged Goddard was part of a group that broke into a police compound and then fire bombed a police vehicle.

'Breaking into a police compound and firebombing a police vehicle with a homemade explosive device is clearly not a peaceful protest,' U.S. Attorney Cody Hiland said in a statement.

'Today's arrests send a message that violence targeted toward law enforcement will not be tolerated.'

Goddard had previously been arrested and charged with obstructing government operations in violation of a local curfew during a BLM protest on June 2 for which she will appear in court in January.

Goddard worked for KUAR Public Radio in Little Rock after attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

'As more and more white supremacists try to rebrand themselves, journalists have a responsibility to be vigilant,' Goddard wrote in 2019 on a news site Truthout.

'There needs to be an end to this farce that neutrality necessitates taking a centrist position,' she said.
Three other suspects were charged last week and have also been linked to far-left activism, according to a report by The Post-Millennial.

Brittany Dawn Jeffrey, 31, is accused of allowing activists to use her home for assembling incendiary devices, and then live-streamed her arrest on Facebook.

Jeffrey's criminal record includes arrests including criminal trespass as Black Lives Matter activists demonstrated at a local business when a former employee was accused of racism.

Two other suspects also facing charges have been identified as Aline Espinosa-Villegas, 24; and Emily Nowlin, 27.

Espinosa-Villegas is described by the newspaper as 'a transsexual Chilean national.'

Espinosa-Villegas has been held in the Pulaski County Detention Center without bail in connection with federal charges.

Nowlin faces charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for joining others in blocking traffic during a June 2 protest as well as the police care fire bombing case.

At least 18 people broke into a high-end department store in Los Angeles and stole thousands of dollars in merchandise Monday night, the city’s police chief said, in one of the country’s latest store burglaries involving sizable groups of thieves.

The group used a sledgehammer and an electric bicycle to smash a window, allowing them to enter the closed Nordstrom department store at The Grove retail complex in Los Angeles around 10:40 p.m. PT, city police said.

The group, consisting of 18 to 20 people, stole at least $5,000 in merchandise and caused $15,000 in damage, Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said Tuesday at a city police commission meeting.

One thing is for certain: this has nothing to do with defunding the police and letting all of those blacks out of prison and jail.

CNN has determined that people commit crimes because it is profitable to do so. They’ve also somehow managed to not mention the fact that all of these people are black.
